About 150 years in the future, the planet Mars is now known as Aqua because of all the water that covers the surface. Akari arrives in Neo-Venezia, a replica of Venice, to become a apprentice Undine, a gondolier who transports tourists around the city. I thought it was an interesting premise, but the stories fell flat for me. Also, Akari is a little too naive, the girl she is eager to befriend is pretty meant to her, and I couldn't get past the Mars cat that runs the business.

This seems cute. I like the cat in it. Akari goes and transforms to the planet Aqua formerly knows as mars, but now it is mostly covered with water. She is going to learn how to become an Undine which is someone that rows tourist around in the waters for sightseeing and stuff. She is working for a company the president is a cat. The president cat makes me laugh.

lovely aqua..!i wonder, can Mars be occupied by Man like in this manga? idea of Mars as a water planet is so cool& catchy. From Akari's daily routines' review, i think she enjoys Aqua more than Man-Home. I wish i could go there too

I love you, Aqua. I love you, Aria. This series and the sequel series makes me feel all the feels. I cannot even that it's never going to be finished in English. I cannot.
Stacey
Absolutely a cute premise, but I did not really get sucked in by the first book. I always give manga at least two books before I make up my mind, though.
Lydia
This is a funny manga. Should be under comedy/sci fi. Not just sci-fi.
