A nice story about a woman mentally abused by her ex-husband trying to get her life back together by getting back her career and her belief in herself and the man hired to do the job. Well written emotions and a very sweet charming man make this a very touching story.

a lot of people might think that the heroine is a doormat, for letting her ex wreak such havoc upon her life without retaliation, but i can understand how a person can get to a mental state where it's just too much. i think the author portrayed the heroine's plight realistically. i liked the hero as well

I don't know....I liked parts of it, but Freya's quick temper? or rush judgements? or something just rubbed me the wrong way....*shrugs*

Maggie Cox loved to write almost as soon as she learned to read. Her favorite occupation was daydreaming and making up stories in her head, and this particular pastime has stayed with her through all the years of growing up, starting work, marrying and raising a family. No matter what was going on in her life, whether joy, happiness, struggle or disappointment, she'd go to bed each night and lose ...more
