This story reminded me why I didn't go to my class reunion (well that and 3000 miles) and why I would kill my best friend if she ever did this to me.

Jane Jones is back home in Louisiana to attend her 10 year class reunion. Since graduating, she's built a prosperous design business in New York. The only thing missing in her life is someone to share it with. Although she doesn't want to admit it, she's still scarred by the broken relationship she had with her secret high school boyfriend.

So when g...more

I found this book entirely predictable, and there's not a whole lot to make it stand out. Jane was the high school beauty that moved to New York City to go to art school. She's a textile designer, but her job is pretty meaningless in the context of the story- it's never really mentioned at all. Morgan was the scrawny high school geek, who went to California after graduation and made millions. They were secretly in love with each other in high school, but they went their separate ways with each f...more

This book would have been a solid 4/5 stars had it not been for the overwhelming amount of typos and grammar mistakes. The editor must have been asleep when they were supposed to work.

First of all, it's called "cookie" if you're eating it, not "cooky". Some areas might use it as a local slang, but it's not how Oxford's Dictionary spells it. The whole "cooky/cookie" thing made the first part of the book nearly impossible to get through, and I was considering giving up. Only thing that kept me goi...more

This entire book is about a simple misunderstanding between high school sweethearts that could easily have been resolved at any time. But the characters both harbored such resentment against the other that it was hard to imagine them together at all. I like books with substance that make me think, or that relate to me in some way, and this book does neither. The book made me feel agitated; I wanted to scream at them to get over their stupidity already!!! It was so frustrating reading about all t...more

A Tasty Read Book Reviews
Cute story about Jane and Morgan who had a secret relationship in H.S and things happened to complicate that, which led to Morgan leaving after they graduated and them never speaking again. Meeting again at there ten year reunion brings to surface old feelings and steamy kisses. Things happened very fast in this novel, but thats why we read romances, for the fantasy. The secondary characters coupling was unnecessary and a little rushed, but still a very cute story!!

This was a cute little story about a woman who's come home for her high school reunion to realize she's still hung up on the boy who left her high and dry. He's made a mint since then, and is still hung up on her. There's a Big Lie in their past, that has to be ferreted out, and a Big Misunderstanding resulting from that evil eavesdropping, but it's still a cute story. I enjoyed it.
Jenna (JennaHack)
This was a very simple book. I enjoyed the characters, the love story, and the drama that went with it all. I would love to know what happens to the characters after the story wraps. I know they got their happily ever after, but they spent so much time overdramatizing everything that I didn't get to enjoy the happy moments as much.

Cute read, though.

Jane (I'm Still Single) Jones was a cute fluffy read. It wasn't amazing or anything more like a distract yourself with this book kind of thing. That being said I did enjoy it. It did have that ridiculous plot where some crazy things happen but like I said it was a good light and fluffy read.

I just discovered Joan Reeves and I have to say her sense of humor just tickles me. Her dialog is very witty and interesting. I liked the story. I liked pretty much everything about this book. I found a few other of her books listed and am going to check them out as well

I pick this book...well because it was $0.99 and I love having something new to read. I have now read all of this author's books. It had clever dialogue and a sweet sappy ending. The husband mocks, but I'm a sucker for a fun, not so racy romance. A nice easy summer read.
Clarabel

I really enjoyed this book. There were a few typos but they didn't bother me. A short (which is perfect sometimes) quick read!
Erin
Everyone in this book behaved so badly throughout that I couldn't really enjoy it past the first few chapters.
Jeanne
It was predictable, short and filled the bill for mindless reading before Christmas.

Great books. I love reading books from this author, they are funny and romantic.

Hello and welcome! I'm Joan Reeves. I write sexy, funny romance novels because I think the world needs more laughter, love, passion and committed relationships!

I guess you want to know a little about me. I can never figure out the best way to write a biography for readers. Should I use third person, as if some unknown assistant were writing it? (I should be so lucky!)
