I am a huge fan of this series. I love that Prince Kian expresses his love for Queen Breen through all these letters because he can't be with her. I am a huge fan of over coming forbidden love and this series so lives up to every thing you want from this type of book. You get forbidden love not only for Kian and Breena, but also Kians sister Shasta and her love Rodney. The Letters are so moving that I felt at times I was going to cry from the sheer emotion that Kian shows in these letters. I fel ...more

The Fairy Letters is what I’ve been waiting for in the Frost series. Kailin Gow has answered all my questions and given me so much more than I expected with Kian's letters to Breena. Kailin Gow is an awesome writer and storyteller. The Fairy Letters gives tremendous insight to how it all began with Breena and Kian’s forbidden love when they were children, and the whole fairy history of Winter and Summer Court, plus how the bond between Breena's mother, Raine, and Kian's mother, the Winter Queen, ...more

I really love the Frost series. This little novella is brilliant and filling in the gaps and the history that isn't fully explained in the main books in the series.

In the form of letters from Prince Kian to Breena, a lot of things are explained and a lot of new information told to the readers.

A must have is you are a fan of the Frost series!
This is one of my favorite series. Fairies, Pixies, and the wolf prince are all a part of this great story telling. I enjoyed reading this book because it gave great insight into Kain's feeling for Breena and what he was going through while they were apart. I can't wait for book 5 so we can continue the journey of Breena, Kain, Logan, Shasta, and Rodney.
the golden witch.
Since this is a novella, and there's not much material to go on, this will be a pretty short review. I've read parts of the first book in this series, and I wasn't quite feeling it, so I thought I'd go to the heart of the source - these letters from Kian to Breena. I thought I might get a little more depth, but honestly, I don't think I felt much more than when I was reading the first book.

The good thing that Gow does know how to do is really give us a timeline of how Breena and Kian's relations
Also posted at my book blog, feel free to drop by and give me any tips on improving my blog, it would be greatly appreciated :)

A short Novella consisting the letters Prince Kian wrote to Queen Breena during their separation.

They were intended for each other at birth, but fate placed them on opposite ends of the battlefield.
Prince Kian of the Winter court had once believed that his childish love for Princess Breena of the Summer had faded with time, but all i

I will admit that I wasn't too sure about this series when I first started it but it really has grown on me with each new installment.

These letters are a great insight into not only Kian's feelings for Breena but also into Feyland itself. We get to hear some of the legends involving the Fey and the wolves as well as glimpses into the Summer and Winter Court and into Kian and Breena's childhood.

This really was a great addition to the series that adds a whole new level to everything that is happen
Great edition to the series!

Blah - not at all what I was hoping for. I got the first book from the actual series and it's like super cheesy twilight wanna be stuff. Ugh.

“My Dearest Breena,

They will remember us. Long after these wars have been mourned and then forgotten long after Summer and Winter fairies lay aside their rancor for one another and forget that they have ever tasted hatred they will remember – Summer fairies and Winter too – of a fairy king who loved his queen. - Prince Kian”
