Coming from “the Bluff” one of the poorest areas in Atlanta from a dad
who got killed in a blotched robbery and a mother that drank her day

I liked the book a lot
But I think Jaz should have been in the book a lot more
Dialouge was on point, the text flowed and great characters. A smooth read and I found myself gasping and cheering outloud. Finished in one sitting - which was hard to do with a sleep over in progress - but I wanted to know what happened next. I'll be checking out his other books.

Travis Hunter is an author, songwriter and father. The Hearts of Men was self-published in 2000 by Hunter's own company, Jimrose Publishing House.
