This book is told from Ebony’s point of view rather than Sophia’s, who happens to be her best friend. We hadn’t read the other two books when the author told us about this story. We decided to read the other two first to give this book it’s proper review. No, I will write a proper review, but it's true, she is a legend.
This book carries on after the events in book 2, but is very different as it is told from Ebony's point of view, not Sophia's. It was fresh to have a different point of view in the story and I really enjoyed it.

So far I think this is the best book in this series. So let me tell you about it and then you can decide.
Just by looking at the cover I could already tell that this book was going to be from Ebony's point of view and it was really well developed. While I dont like giving negative reviews because the writers work so hard on their books that it feels so wrong to bash on their finished product.
However, while the Embrace series so far as a whole is good, I was disappointed in this book. I like that it was from the point of view from Ebony and you get to see more about the life of her and her sister Eliza. You won't want to miss the Embrace series, by Charlotte Backwell! Where the first two books of the series pull you in from Sophia's point of view, the third book, Mystic Embrace, takes you in the direction of the old family of witches who help their vampire family to survive living in a human world. This book centers on Ebony, Sophia's best friend and is full of wonderful ancient ways, suprising twists, and old vampire who is a very powerful enemy.

Wow, what can I say? I loved this book and thought that it would just be about the sisters that are witches but went beyond that. Charlotte has yet to let me down sitting on the edge of my seat and seeing the changes all of the families are going thru. I read this book as her other 2 in 1 day not able to put it down. The story held onto me tight and wouldn't let me go until I completed it. Knowing there are more to come of this series, I can't wait to see how everything goes with everyone. At on...more

I think this was my favorite book in the Embrace series so far!
Mystic Embrace make's you believe in the power of love, friendship and family! I really think the Embrace series is a great read for people of all ages.
So much stuff happens in this book that it will seriously make you'r head spin! (not to mention the tears you'll cry)

Wow-- a few things I did not expect to happen. Some real issues are presented in this book-- although because that is not what the book is about it is not covered in depth- but still touched on and made important. I like how this isn't all about vampires but other supes as well. Can't wait to read the next when Charlotte and Mary (Ting) cross over their characters from each of their respective series.
So I am so happy I got too read this. Charlotte is an amazing writer. This book opens a door for a lot too come. I love the good the bad and the real bad that has happend in this book. It had open up for more embrace too happen. I so love being embraced. You rock girl.
Loved how the story just flows into the next. Loved the book that it from Ebony POV. Learning and discovering the whole world of the embrace is exciting.
this is the 3rd boom in the series and I really hope there is another to atleast finish the story. This story is told by Ebony one of the worlds most powerful witches. Her best friend is Sophia from the first to books in the series. There is so much going on in his book it keeps you reading. My only complaint is the way the book ends, I hate cliff hangers. :)
Very exciting and emotional book. Charlotte did an amazing job writing this story and the whole series. I couldn't stop reading it.
Book 3 in my series. I won't rate it since that's not fair, but would love it if you do. Thanks so much for your support.
