Better than most zombie stories which simply have the Walking Dead shambling along biting and devouring everything in their paths and then going on to the next morsel. These zombies have a purpose…even if a few innocents have to be sacrificed to get them to their goal. Good characterization of the participants, making them not tried-and-true villains, but simply people who acted wrongly in a weak moment, tried to put it behind them, and are now living (and dying) to regret it.
