Black Lagoon Reviews: Cradle of Dreams by Keta Diablo, quite possibly one of the strongest and most enjoyable read of the entire collection. There was a great sense of detail to the story with a great back story as well as multiple layers spanning not only the present, but the distant past, creating an enthralling tale that had me captivated. I loved the twist of a soldier coming back from war only to find that everyone thinks that he died on the battlefield. The emotionality was great spanning the gap between rage, sadness, and deep seeded need. The erotic appeal of this novel was wonderful, springing from the great connection between the characters and fiercely dominate male that I couldn't help but drool over a bit. The writing itself was fluid, with nice world building despite the shortness of the story. This was definitely a great read that I would have loved to see be a little longer, just so I could see more of these appealing characters.

Bitten by Paranormal Romance: Cradle of Dreams by Keta Diablo – I have to add something about this paranormal historical read: I usually do not read historical but this one changed my mind (loved it) and made me want to try more historical reads. Sexual scene includes anal sex

Books for Company - Cradle of Dreams put my mind to rest on whether l would like this book at all just because of Keta’s writing, l really liked her style and it made her story easy to read. The story line wasn’t too confusing and l actually found it quite of a page turner which is hard when the story is only around 40 pages long! This story had quite a bit of romance in and the emotions that the characters had were well developed.

I have never read anything by Keta before and let me say she had me from the first page. Loved the characters immediately well for exception of Roane I wasn't too sure of him , I love the bad boy but I thought he was a bit cruel at first but it didn't take long for me to change my mind of him and Wow! the sex scenes were smoking hot.(less)

This is a sexy, fun novella that I bought to read on my Kindle. The way the story is laid out is refreshing and different. I enjoyed the way Ms. Diablo described the various settings and emotion of the characters. She has a talent for pulling the reader into the feelings of her characters. Well done.

Roane is a returning civil war soldier and faces emotional issues and battle scars. I would have liked to seen more of this. The smidgen that was given by Keta was interesting - expanding this area...more

This was a quick, okay read. The writing was strong and the I really liked the intro. I liked Kendra, the young antiquities store assistant we met in the prologue. I even liked Ryan, the man we are introduced to in the epilogue. The two are supposed to be representative of Kendrick and Roane, two lovers from the 1800s who were torn apart by war and the mistaken reporting of Roane's death.

This book was only 28 pages and somehow the author wove a story so tight and thorough that I didn't feel like I'd missed anything. Beautiful relationships full of conflict and heartache, it transcended time and stayed true to the very end. I adored Roane, the hero. So hot and masterful, everything I look for in a great erotica read.
