I liked it but there are things I absolutely hated. For one Maggie. She is such a little bitch to Gabe even insulting his parentage. I cant stand when the 'real' children insult adopted children because of their biological genes. Here Gabe is actually her half brother because his biological mother died then his father met and married maggie, cal and Sean's mother. Together they had three children ( Maggie, Cal, Sean). I loved Gabe and Kate together. They came together quickly but they had known each other since they were kids. I am glad it turned out like it did!
I did not care for Maggie at all. Of coarse, I also understand that she was the only girl and with 3 brothers she better be independent. BUT, after reading the second book.... Maggie is okay in my book! So, read the first book, then read the 2nd book and tells more of the story.... Looking forward to more!
