Whoever said vacations were relaxing?

To say half-vampire, half-witch Ana Parker has boy trouble is putting it lightly—something her text messaging bill can attest to. Her rocker ex-boyfriend Nikolai is trying to heat things up again, and high school hockey star Mathew wants her to try out with him for the Renaissance Festival. At least her sort-of boyfriend Elias isn’t hou...more

This is the last book in this series. It starts out with Elias still living in Ana's basement. One morning a prince, who is like Ana, comes to town. He says they are on the brink of war because Ana let his captain’s betrothed out of her agreement. And that someone must be offered to keep the two regions at peace. Ana makes a joke saying that all that she has to offer is Elias, and of course the prince thinks it a fine deal. She has to find a way to correct this, or at the very least make it OK....more

Awesome read as always, kudos Ms. Hallaway. I wasn't aware that this is the last book so I had to edit my original review. I'm sad that it had to end so quickly, I was left hanging and aching for more. I wanted to find out more on when Elias' return and will he stake his claim finally w/Ana. I want to see if her parents will eventually be friends especially now that they are living under one roof. I want to find out if and when Mat's relationship w/Ana ends will Nikolai make his move again since...more

Well, normally, I'd give these types of books a 1. Or not rate it at all.

BUT. She mentions yaoi, so I decided to be nice. (Note: if you don't know what yaoi is, I honestly suggest it. I mean, if you're an anime/manga fangirl, then yaoi is AMAZING).

That aside, this is the type of book that gives me cancer.

If you don't like seeing/reading explicit words, better not continue reading.

Almost Everything picks up where Almost Final Curtain left off. ana has to contend with her conflicting worlds of vampires and witches, all while trying to figure out which of her many guys she wants to be with. Should she pick Nik the uber sexy rock 'n' roll witch, the chivalrous vampire living in her basement Elias, or the former enemy jock turned theatre buddy Thompson? By the end of the story I still hadn't decided who I wanted her to be with. Some people might say that three guys liking her...more

Life is hard when your parents don't teach you any survival skills, and especially hard when you are a vampire princess. Ana Parker's distinct lack of knowledge of anything vampire makes for fun reading in Tate Hallaway's third installment of the Vampire Princess series, "Almost Everything."
Ana Parker, raised by her witch mother to loathe vampires, finds herself endowed with vampiric rather than magical abilities. Having had no education in things undead, she finds herself adrift when negotiat...more

To avoid a vampire war, vampire princess Ana is forced to agree to an arranged marraige between her sort of boyfriend, Elias and a vampire from another faction. With the deadline for another witch hunt looming, Ana must find a way to save the vampires without having to sacrifice a witch.

This book was really good, confusing at some parts but still very good. I have to admit it got confusing at some parts and a love square that's a really hard story line to gone but Tate Hallaway made it wrok. This book I have to is fast-paced but still amazing. It was as twist and turning like the first but it kept me reading. I really like this author has a more lose writing, she had a more adolescent writing I guess, and I guess that's just easier but funner to read. I also like how for her lo...more

Yep, so there's still the love square situation happening. Plus, as an added bonus, there's a new vamp prince whose come all the way from the south too annoy Ana. ooh, ooh, and all the vampires are starving! you know, cuz Ana stopped their ceremonial hunt twice now. makes them kinda hungry.

also, here's a sneak peek: I felt most comfortable with people who made obscure references to Star Wars movies or Lord of the Rings books, and people who got excited at the idea of a new Doctor Who episodes...more

a Good novel, fun and entertaining.

The one thing though is that the love situation does NOT get handled. It's more like put on pause/hold than anything seious. She doesn't even really make the choice, more like it's made for her and for that i wish for another novel to please tell me what happens.

My opinion of her Love Interest-

Nik: he's hot and mostly caring but other than some serious attraction and a common backround i'm not really seeing how these two work with one another. He seems a bit co...more

I enjoyed this. Ana isn't a vampire or a witch, but half of both and she has some powers from each, but wants to protect both species even though they hate each other and warred for ages. Her love life, and excess of interested guys, continues.

Ana has interrupted the Hunt twice already, so when she discovers the vampires are hungry almost to the point of insanity she's determined to save them, but not by giving them a witch to kill. Interesting solution she came up with.

However, I didn't know un...more

Abi vecāki cenšas meitu piesaistīt savam klanam, bet galīgo lēmumu var pieņemt tikai pati Anast...more

I enjoyed this one but was surprised by the direction the author took the romance in. Not disappointed - just surprised. I am hoping there will be another book in the series as it seemed quite unfinished and up in the air - what with Elias (view spoiler)[ going to the southern kingdom, her dad being mortal and dying and Ana being vampire queen(view spoiler)[ I don't like her parents -they are awful. I love the bit where her mother tells Ana she isn't like either of them and Ana thinks - "that is...more

My "in a nutshell" summary...

Ana Parker...half witch, half vampire...and the funniest heroine ever...is in trouble yet again!

My thoughts after reading this book...

Anastasia...is the most lovable freak accident prone dhampyr ever! I so love this series. Ana is such a sassy spunky character and the premise is quite believable. Vampires and witches live in Minnesota...they know each other exists and some humans know they exist...including A...more

Loved this book, it was a great addition to the series! I am sad this is the last book though, I still have so many questions! This book definitely had a lot going on supernaturally and with the guys in Ana's life. She really doesn't get much of a break in this book and there are some events that I didn't see coming. There really isn't much more I can say regarding the plot because I don't want to give anything away.

Ana is a fun character and I really like her. Although I don't think I would wan...more

I liked it a lot until I read the end. I have enjoyed the series and going in to this book I knew it was the final one. Which is why when I read the last page I kept looking for the next chapter. Nothing, and I mean nothing was resolved or had a definite end or decision. Ana could have a least picked one guy, I don't like to be forever wondering, even if it wouldn't be happily ever after for them. So I liked the series, but I really wish there was another book!

mmeeeehhhhh i liked it but sometimes i just felt too bored.....the way breaking the hex was so quick i mean it was like tate remembered she didn't metion it before and she just wrote it there for good measure i mean like all these boring details and when it came to real action she would just finish quickly anyway i love the series so i feel like there is a lot more to it now than ever

nice, complete ending to the fun, lighthearted trilogy, altho I do wonder about some of the characters and what their future holds, maybe a spin off is in the future?

PS: I thought goodreads wasn't using Amazon's info any more - but the kindle summary here and at Amazon are incorrect for this title, the paperback info is correct

LOVED ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! GREAT ending!!!! Loved Ana, loved Elias, even kind of loved Matt. SO glad this ended the way it did, even though not entirely the way I thought it would have...but besides that I thought it was FABULOUS!!!!! And such a great series!! I really loved it and while I am sad for this to be the end, I am glad too, because the ending was not so open ended that it's not fulfilling, but not so closed that there can never be anymore to the story, while the GREAT part is that...more

I really enjoyed this series....Ana is part witch and part vampire...What is funny is her mom is the Queen of witches and her dad is King of the vampires...And her love life is just as complicated...I cant wait to see what happens next....

I must admit, I've been waiting pretty damn long to read this book. Seriously, these books have been in the back of my mind for the past two years and now that the last installment's finally here....I don't want it anymore.

Saga simplona que he acabado de leer porque la empecé y ya se sabe, soy cabezona y no me gusta dejar nada a medias. Nada muy destacable, aunque el comportamiento final de Nikolai no me ha acabado de convencer.

I have to say I'm in love with the cover, so beautiful! The book was a bit disappointing. It was all about Ana and her boy problems. She dates with some human boy Thompson, and I thought there was no chemistry there. I didn't get the whole romance with him, it was kind of all of a sudden and just forced. Then there is Nick, the rocker, while I liked him in the first and the second book, I didn't like him in this book at all. He became shallow and pushy, like only he was good enough and not some...more

It's getting interesting, again. I want to see more of Bea, who didn't play a large role in this one. Some major changes came, so I can't wait to hear about the fallout!
Brandie Bunnell
It was very down to earth for a vamp story and much history or detail on the characters but is still to the point in the end.

Fun characters. Fun story. Lame ending. Hopefully, this isn't the last of the series.

Best in the series - a great lighthearted read.

I loved this series. This book was by far the best of the 3. I hate that it is the end. Completely different than any other vampire series I have read. My only complaint is that there isn't a 4th book.
