This novelette started out in a way that a lot of students would relate to the characters being portrayed. But as it progressed, the story could have been a little less terse by having the characters more fleshed out. I felt that the ending was just too pat, too easy. Having said all of this, my students will relate enough to the characters to read it.

Alright Story.
To fast. Ending was weak. Ghost was kinda of creepy. What do you except it is Young Adult book, which isn't to say that YA is a bad genre. I just believe there are certain books that are not to par. Recommend me this but you want to get a feel for Ghost stories and or The Ring influenced books.

This is definitely a fast read that is perfect for reluctant readers. It is somewhat spooky and teens will be able to relate to the storyline. The writing is just okay; it sort of felt like one of my students had written it. However, I think that many of my 8th graders will enjoy the book.

good little ghost story with a mystery thrown in for good measure. I almost missed my metro stop because I was at an exciting part of the story.

Good idea for the novel. The author opted for brevity, and at times, more details would have enhanced the story.

This is a short novel about a group of high school pranksters who are haunted by a ghost. The adults in town seem to know the identity of the ghost, but they don’t want to talk about her. It’s eerie and suspenseful, although I felt I couldn’t completely sink into it because of its brevity. Still, it’s a decent read that’s going into my classroom library.

The story was predictable and stilted. I'm sure that my 7th grade students will love it.

Interesting story. Very quick read and would be good for reluctant readers as it's only 106 pages long.
