This novelette started out in a way that a lot of students would relate to the characters being portrayed. But as it progressed, the story could have been a little less terse by having the characters more fleshed out. I felt that the ending was just too pat, too easy. Having said all of this, my students will relate enough to the characters to read it.
Alright Story.
To fast. Ending was weak. Ghost was kinda of creepy. What do you except it is Young Adult book, which isn't to say that YA is a bad genre. I just believe there are certain books that are not to par. Recommend me this but you want to get a feel for Ghost stories and or The Ring influenced books.

This is a short novel about a group of high school pranksters who are haunted by a ghost. The adults in town seem to know the identity of the ghost, but they don’t want to talk about her. It’s eerie and suspenseful, although I felt I couldn’t completely sink into it because of its brevity. Still, it’s a decent read that’s going into my classroom library.
