In Slow Turning, William Monroe takes us on a very personal journey of his transformation from victim to survivor—to self-discovery and freedom. Enduring a childhood with a pedophile parent, it took Monroe years to work through the consequences of this tragic, unfortunate circumstance. This book is a collection of poems and song written by a man that was sexually abused as a child. This book is a book of hope, self-discovery, and overcoming the pain that he experienced. It's meant to be a collection for adults who have been through similar situations, and while i've never gone through this, I still got a lot from this book.
