I love Spencer's keen wit and lively POV. Nobody reminds me of what my dogs value more than he.

Spencer Quinn has written several fun books narrated by a faithful dog named Chet. These are fun mysteries, and anyone familiar with the funny and fantastical habits of dogs will enjoy them. Mr. Quinn has a special gift for accurately describing a place, so much so that reading his books feels like taking a vacation.

Amusing little mystery told from a dog's point of view. Lots of "dog" not much "mystery." Very easy read.

Told exclusively from the dog's point of view - absolutely hilarious.

again, a really good premise but story just doesn't carry. it's fun at first...but it's just like that movie, "look who's talking"? it's funny with the first movie, and then 2nd, and 3rd...etc. you get the point.

I liked the first book in the series but for some reason could not get into this one. I started it a couple of times and was never sufficiently engaged in it to finish it.
