This is a slice of Americana. Archie Comics has been a part of the American experience since the 1940's. This book takes a look at the main female characters and follows them through the decades. How can I not love these girls? The art and history in this book are great. There is just something beautiful in the simplicity of a black and white sketch.
Would have wanted more art, and more comics, but maybe I'm just greedy. Still, well worth your time.
