I have come to terms with the idea of Peter becoming Lesser-Bred. See, sometimes I can look at the glass of milk as being half-full instead of close to empty.

Besides, it's not all that hard. Look at the benefits. More time alone with him, my greedy bastard self, and the bed. Granted, it's time we could be spending in the Gray Zone. I did promise to take Peter there to fin...more

This was a great addition to the series, just enough of my questions were answered to keep me satisfied, and I love the fascinating new questions that were raised. (view spoiler)[How Darwin "felt" where to find Peter, for example, or how he set himself on fire... I can't wait to see where those lead! (hide spoiler)]

I definitely felt like I got to know both the world and the characters better in this one, and I loved that.

Darwin and Peter are definitely a fantastic couple. It's so refreshing to...more

I laughed quite a bit with this installment of the Darwin’s Theory series. Darwin’s happier here than with the previous two book. He is still in love with Peter to the point that it is almost an obsession, but he’s happily in love. Peter is happy too, though he is also scared of the changes that his body is about to undergo with him Becoming Lesser-Bred. They are not taking the precautions they should be taking in preparing for Peters Shift. This adds some exciting drama to story. The readers f...more

"No more secrets"

Darwin and Peter promise it... Peter said it...
"No more secrets"

and of course neither of them will keep their promises

Much more serious than the previous books of the serie. Peter is still fighting to keep his heart and his feelings unchanged, to keep his (view spoiler)[humanity (hide spoiler)].

Darwin is doing everything he can to help Peter, and certainly it's not a easy task... But he don't care. No Kin (aka, a Dragon) or a Lesser-Breed can separate him from his lover.

Great...more

This book Three in the series is really good!

It follows Peter and Darwin after Peter lost his metaphysical scholarship AND they discovered that is becoming a lesser-bred and is actually on the verge of shifting.
Lesser-breds have physical needs a human cannot satisfy. They NEED meat, lots of meat, and their animal side can't care whether it is human flesh or animal flesh. So, by staying with Peter, Darwin really puts his life in danger, especially if the does not rush to the Gray Zone (the lesser...more

The more I read these stories, the more in love I am with Darwin. He is the one telling the story and he is so sarcastic and cocky...I love it! He makes me laugh. I guess that I might think he was an asshole, if it weren't for his unshakable, unquestioning, unconditional love for Peter. It is so beautiful. Oh, to be loved like that. My only complaint with these stories is that they are just a couple of chapters being spoon-fed to us (the reader). I really don't like WIPs; I would rather wait unt...more

I really want to kick Darwin. He's TSTL at times. My official review is now available.

Impulse control, use it, Darwin! Although really, I want to call him Dar-DIM. In the third installment of this series, we learn more about why Peter is in such hot demand. Still no Kin showing up in the book but the evil Serge makes another appearance. She's in league with Peter's abductors. Thankfully, Darwin is able to bullshit his way for a daring rescue.

Darwin is once again a loathsome person. I didn't thin...more

I think these books are going to be the death of me! As the story builds up, it ends!

That being said, I am really enjoying this series. I really love Darwin and his 'just as I am' attitude and his utter devotion to Peter. The fantasy/paranormal component of the story is beginning to come together, and I am definately intrigued to see where it goes and what more this world has to offer. We'll just have to see if I maintain my sanity as I wait for the next book.

Now we're really getting into it...This series gets better and then betterer. I am loving the world and all the new surprises.

Pete is different now a little more dangerous...Darwin is still awesome, I've said this before, his voice is so unique, funny, caustic, smart, hard at times but his love for Peter makes him so vulnerable.

And HOLY MOLY they are SO HOT together...Loving Adrienne's Atlanta and looking forward to what's next.

Peter is going through the changing process and takes a bite out of his beloved Darwin. Scared and volatile, Peter calls Whitcomb who kidnaps Peter. Darwin finds Peter missing and goes nuts tracking him down. Once the guys are safely hidden in The Zone, Peter reveals his most shocking secret.

I'm loosing interesting in this story. Those kind of plotted short novellas, where each part ends with loose end and incomplete, show a lot about a writer which is nothing good in my book. Anyway this plot is heading into a direction which isn't good at all, for me it's annoying and idiotic.

4.5 stars. Very good short paranormal m/m romance in which Peter is becoming dangerous to Darwin, but other dangers abound as well.

Excellent third book in the Darwin's Theory series. In this one Peter starts to change and some dangerous enemies appear.

This series gets more and more interesting with each episode. These two are just so cute! More thrilling action, more love, more declarations of eternal devotion. At first I didn't understand why Peter loved Darwin so much when he seemed to have it so together, but this episode revealed more about how Peter has issues, too. It's so cute how self-deprecating Darwin is and how he has Peter on a pedestal and that's what keeps him sane.

Promises (Darwin's Theory, #3)
My fascination for the big, scaly, and scary began somewhere around the age of three when I escaped my mother's arms and ran down the aisle during a showing of Pete's Dragon, screaming, “Don't hurt my friend!” In my defense, it was the scene where Elliott the dragon is captured by the villains, so could you blame me?

Anyhow, my passion for artwork started around that same time, and I took to drawin...more
