"Left On Red" is a 'multi-layered' epic adventure story that employs a strong interplay of the metaphysically sublime with the dangerous situation's of everyday life. Woven into this book is a shroud of mystery and metaphysical possibilities, making the book read like a 'lucid dream of pulp-fiction'.

The Author has the story narrated through the main character - Shirley Martucci, a young woman who identifies with the counter-culture movement of the 1970's. The narration has a wonderful 'journal

I would recommend this 'must read' for anyone who enjoys an adventurous escape. The reader becomes attached the the main character immediately, and is offered a glimpse into a lifestyle very few have experienced. I laughed, I cried, but most of all I was given a chance to visit an era gone by where very few people put their lives on the line when they refused to conform to the strict rules dictated by society. Hang on, its a ride you will never forget!
