This time it's life or death.

Suze has gotten used to ghosts. She's a mediator, after all, and communicating with the dead is all in a day's work. So she certainly never expected to fall in love with one: Jesse, a nineteenth-century hottie. But when she discovers that she has the power to determine who becomes a ghost in the first place, Suze begins to freak. It means she c

Books 1 and 2 have good buildup and are quite enjoyable as well.

So.... best when read in order, but at the very least read 3-6 in order. :) (less)

Dear Jesse,

I went back in time. Your time. To the 19th century. I know, I know. It was dangerous and could've cost my life, but I still went. I mean, really, since when did I ever listen to what someone told me to do.Whatever. The real reason for this is to say goodbye. Why? You ask, well because, in the future you and me, well we'll never meet. you know I'm actually smiling right now because, if you were here you'd probably get all mad and say , "Susannah. it's 'you and I.'"

This book annoyed the SHIT out of me. As far as I am concerned this was a horrible ending to a series that started out fantastic. I loved this series when I first started reading it, the main character Suze was tough, sassy, funny as hell and she had a good sense about her (and great taste in shoes, but that is neither here nor there). Point is, I really liked her, she didn't seem like the typical teen I've been reading about so much lately and I liked her, I truly did. But as the series went on ...more

I can honestly say that Twilight was the best book in The Mediator series. I loved all six books, but this one was one of the best books Meg Cabot has ever written. I loved the way she ended The Mediator and this book had more suspense and laughs than its predecessors. Not only was there the really cool supernatural storyline but this one had time travel! This unexpected addition to The Mediator books was awesome to say the least.

Twilight picks up a few months from where Haunted left off. Suze

I read this whole series straight through in about two weeks. I loved the whole "I see dead people" thing. It was very interesting and the additional mediator talents revealed in the last three books were even more interesting. For a book to be romantic, the guy and girl have to be separated tragically. The fact that Suze is alive and Jesse is dead was really unique and I enjoyed that throughout the whole series. It ended exactly the way you think its going to end, but it was fun reading it neve ...more

In the sixth instalment of the Mediator series Suzie is forcefully studying her talents with fellow mediator Paul due to their agreement to protect Jesse. When Suzie finds out that Paul may have a trick up his sleeve to make sure Jesse never meets her she does everything in her power to stop him. But will Jesse agree with Suzie's drastic measures to protect his ghost form? and what will happen when both mediators travel back to the eighteen hundreds and meet Mr De
20 pages in, and I'm already enraged at Paul. I quit. I am so done with this series. Literally all it took to ruin this series for me was a pushy, invasive, patronizing, borderline rapey son of a bitch.

I can't stand him. So I'm out. I quit. It was fun while it lasted but I am so done.

This last book is an astounding grand finale for "The Mediator" series! Very well planned and written! A masterpiece indeed!
The ending is perfect! When I read it, I couldn't forget it! I'm so glad at the same time sad, for it's done.
Over all, it's a beautiful book! A perfect love story everyone will love! It's a kind of love story, whoever will read it, will never forget it! I want to thank Meg Cabot for writing such a novel! She inspired me!

While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I am so glad this was not the end to the series and Meg decided to write Remembrance. I cannot wait to start it because there were more loose ends than I remember. I need closure and I did not get that from Twilight. I finished this audiobook and thought...WHAT?! Not that it wasn't a great book because it was. But I just wanted a smudge more closure.

I loved getting to know Jesse in the past, and of course more Paul is always good news for me! I just want Pau

The book is just simply amazing. There's no other word for me to describe about it. Every detail makes it incredibly interesting. Especially it was very touching, I cried a lot reading it, lots of sacrifices, true love...I totally love it. I couldn't leave the book to go to sleep so I read it 'til 2am. It was definitely worth my sleep :P
I love the book. I love Jesse.(haha of course, who wouldn't anway?)and it made me laugh like a crazy person the part where he asked "Soose?". I love Suze too, I

I wished I had more to say about Heaven Sent, but apart from the fantastic ending, it was a bit bland. Suze annoyed me for the majority of the book, but especially in the first 20%. Her and Paul's relationship did more than just piss me off. He was abusing her, and she let him! On top of that, Suze was just generally rude to people. She was terrible to pretty much every other female character (apart from maybe CeeCee, her best friend, who had two lines or so). It is not okay to call ot

The conclusion to an otherwise great series left a lot to be desired despite its happy ending. I often thought Paul's introduction brought this series down a notch. It would've been different if he was a formidable foe, but he was used more as a foil to Jesse&Suze's relationship for the stupid love triangle angle. I didn't like that Paul's previous involvement in trying to kill/hurt her and her friends was sort of glossed over and Cabot had Suze lusting after him despite his obvious psychopa ...more

Okay, I had waited long enough for Meg Cabot to wrap all things up pretty neatly in this series. And it seems to be she had done a very good job of it. I loved it the way it ended up with Jesse.

"If you love something, set it free; if it comes backs it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was." - Richard Bach

Excellent quotation and that's what this book's story is set on. But..

Will Suze have it in her to really set Jesse, who is the love of her life, free?

Meg Cabot has done it again! She's saved the best for last with the final book to The Mediator series: Twilight. I really enjoyed The Mediator series. Twilight was by far my favorite because all of the other books led up to this one. It had a lot of suspense in it and kept me wanting more. I've never read so much in my life reading the series.

What I Remember:

I tore into this book on a Mediator binge read back when this book was released. I think it might’ve been the first time I’ve binge read a series. I rapidly tore through the pages wanting to read what was next. And the result it made me laugh, cry, and just have so many feels.

Upon Reread:

I am still getting the feels from this book roughly eleven years after the last one was published-God, I don’t like thinking that this book is that old.

This book was one of the most exciting additions out of the entire series! I loved how we get to see Suze's inner turmoil with what decisions to make even though the outcome may hurt her the most. There was plenty of action and excitement in this book that made it hard to put down. And don't even get me started on that ending, because I adored it! It was absolutely perfect! I love Jesse and was so glad that the author wrote the ending this way.

Suze annoys me so much this book. I feel like it could be a good 100 pages shorter and better if they would take out all the whining she does about how if Paul saves Jesse then they will never meet, seriously over and over. Ok we GET IT! She even goes on to say how he is the only thing she has in her life that makes it worth living at some point. That's really great that your family and friends you don't care at all about, just your boyfriend, am I reading the other Twilight here? She spends eno ...more

Loved every little bit of this whole 6 book series. Suze is fantastic. She's stubborn, hot headed, caring and compassionate. Jesse might be one of the most perfect YA boys ever. The mysteries were always solid and fun to unravel. The dialogue is clever, quick and hilarious. The friendships are real. The parents are loving and present. At the time of writing this, my daughter is 5 and this is the sort of series I'd love to use as an introduction to YA for her. I'm ridiculously excited about the a ...more

This book was a very good end to the series (at least, the first end since the series is continuing, after 12 years) and I'm very happy with it.

I didn't love the first half of the book to be honest because I was seriously mad at Suze for how she was behaving and for her decisions. But after that, I finally started to get into it. I just wish that Paul had died or something because I don't like him.

I really liked the story and I was liked the characters, even Susannah after some time. The writing

Twilight is the end of Suze's ghost hunting adventures. This time she has to fight for her love and learn more about herself.

Twilight continues from where Haunted left off and it is still plot-centered thank God!

I loved the whole time-travel thing and how (view spoiler). If only this series was about YA time travel *sigh*. At that scene I was content to be a Jesse/Suze shipper 'coz they were beyond death somehow. Not even Paul's manipulations soured my moo

It's hard when you fall in love with the ghost of a hot guy who died 150 years ago. *sigh* THERE. I've done it. I've finished the series... Or I thought I've finished it until I learned there's a new book on the way. And I loved it. It's been a great, fun, thrilling and a truly remarkable adventure from the start of the series. I know the ending's kind of cliche or whatever but who the hell cares. I'm deeply satisfied. Good bye Sussanah Simons... till we meet again ;)
