If you want a good read over the holiday period then try this one! A great first novel by Gwen Andrews which will have you hooked from the start, but just gets better as the book goes on! I cannot wait to read Big Father, the second book in this trilogy................

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, after the first few pages just couldn't put it down. It's a good read. Passed it on to my friend and she couldn't put it down either.

Some of the characters had me laughing out loud and Stephanie's friend Ethel Joyce, you felt you wanted to whack her but she can be quite perceptive at times. (I’m sure there is an Ethel Joyce PI book there?). Mr. Wung made me laugh out loud too.

Would the restaurant succeed? .........

Born in Canada, Gwen Andrews has also lived in the UK and Australia, where she currently resides. Her first published novel is Butlers, a comedy of manners set in an upscale restaurant in London. It is the first book in the Lacey Trilogy; the second will be published in 2012.
