The book The Deadliest War was a interesting book on the point of world war 2. It shared how Hitler thinking and what was going on that lead to it. Hitler held a lot of anger inside and it all continued to build you in him. It was like he just kept point fingers and I couldn't stop thinking how a person can do this to a point it ends up on a huge war. Like I can't understand how a man can do such harm and it not changes him. He was a tyrant leader and what he said had to go because to him no was ...more

I've read this before. I had to read it again before I assigned it to students. I use it in GED classes, and it's perfect. Students get the core facts without getting overwhelmed or bogged down. The author adds interesting anecdotes that keep reluctant readers engaged. These books are a dollar at Townsend Press, but the shipping cost is high. We order lots at one time and let students keep them. I think they are perfect for a GED program.

this book is really easy to read and understand. It contain all the horrible things that happened during the world war II. And also things that Hitler done to his people, especially the jewish. I personally enjoy reading this book at the beginning but it reach to a point that, i could no longer continue reading it because of the massive treatment of the jewish and their innocent children.

For a YA version of WWII history this book actually is an easy read and contains accurate information in an easily digestible form. Since I hate history, this was actually a book I didn't mind reading.
