Not what I expected in a GOOD way.

I expected a rather thorough analysis of each of King's works, as the title suggests to me. But what I got was an interesting assortment of King material. There were short summaries/analyses of each of his works published through 1995, but these summaries were only about 3 pages each and at the end of the book.

What most of the book included were essays about King's impact, interviews, speeches he gave, King's intentional choice of small publishing companies/in
