As someone who grew up reading Carlos Castaneda and whom has read Don Miguel's "The Four Agreements"; this book literally gave me a blueprint for implementing the agreements and other life changing philosophies into my daily regimen. I've re-visited this wonderful book time and time again as I move forward in my own personal journey and found it immensely indispensable as I learn to live again without fear and in the moment. I liked Gregg's other book, "Dance of Power", more than this one. It contained a lot of the same information, but in a more digestible style and more real. This book seems to lack the depth of that book. That said, it is full of good advice and love.
This is an excellent book -- I liked some of the exercises/meditations and found that reading it really changed my perception of reality in small but powerful ways
Interesting read about a Mexican religion since the Mayans - that gives a more positive spin on the violence. Good perspective to living.
