Cold War-era sci-fi where a young man realizes the human mind can alter reality. His former physics teacher, now working on a nuclear powered bomb-dropping spaceship, disagrees. As tensions between the US and the USSR rise, the young man assumes the role of a mystic to take matters into his own hands (or mind).
