Edgar Perez’s new book is a must read for anyone eager to learn more about the complex world of high frequency trading. “The Speed Traders” sheds light through the author’s expert analysis of the subject matter as well as through his interviews of traders in the industry.

Discusses the history regarding the Flash Crash and how this affected high-frequency trading. A very exhaustive book on this matter, referring to a bunch of important trading firms around the world and how they developed over time, including the promised interviews to VIP in this topic. Yet a little too much of history that fatigues the reader.
