Dr. Dyer is so gifted at encouraging readers to incorporate better thinking habits. For someone who tends to 'catastrophize' often, this book offers 101 ways to stop bad thinking habits. The best part is that implementing each way is actually pretty easy. Definitely worth a gander...or a listen!
Good advice in this concise book , with mostly common sense but needed reminders. The only complaint is a lot of redundancy. There are at least four variations on not judging. This could have easily been reduced to 50 ways to transform your life.
I listened to this on audio. While brief, one CD, and interesting while listening, I did find it become a little repetitive, and I can't recall specfics after a few days. Thus, good for short term motivation!
Elise and I read and discussed together, and that was fun. There were some good suggestions, and book was uplifting and inspirational. Quite repetitive, though, probably in effort to reach the contrived 101 number, and some ideas were zany, but we still chuckled at those
Nothing new that I've already read or heard from other self-help books.
