This book includes books #2 & #4 of the Stanislaski series.
Luring A Lady, Mikhail's story, is another favorite of mine. It's sweet and sexy all at the same time. I LOVE the character of Mikhail. He's an understated Alpha with a big & burly side and a passionate artistic side, but underneath it all, he's got a huge heart. Between that, the long hair, and the accent, he just makes me sigh.

Adorable! Loved these two stories. Of course, I didn't realize that this was number 2 and number 4 in the series, so it kind of gave some stuff away. But that's okay. I loved Mikhail and Alexi. Mikhail had such a temperament about him but he cared so much about everyone in his building it was hard to not like him. Alexi was one of those characters that I liked but I wanted to throttle him when he made stupid mistakes!! I can't wait to read the individual stories of the Stanislaski sisters. I sor

Aaaahhhh. Storyline pulled forward by dialogue and action. Characters reacting to events around them, and growing or struggling because of it. Multi-layered characters with believable lives.
Both of the stories in this book were fun and worth the read. Not exactly challenging, mind you, but that's not what typically go to romances for anyway.

Like I said about the companion collection with the sisters - one of my favourite contemporary romance series, with no external threat, just people's personalities providing the problems and solutions.
I appreciate the fact that the current collections are in the correct order though.

Just reread this. I think is my favorite Roberts family. I read this series more for the family than the romance. I love Mikhail's character and Bess McNee from the second book. She's great.

Typical Nora Robert's family romance. Quick, enjoyable, good characters, no surprises.

probably closer to a 4, but I just didn't have the heart to give it a 4 after giving "Breaking Dawn" a 4. I will tell you the second book brought a tear to my eye. Embarrasing, but true. "Be my family." Oh hell. I am a twerp :)

and Alex Stanislaski both strong and passionate. Their charm made them irresistible...
Mikhail's work-hardened hands were not what wealthy ice princess Sydney Hayward was accustomed to, but the classy beauty soon discovered this earthy stranger's rare talent for Luring a Lady. . . .
When Alex mistakenly arrests headstrong Bess McNee for soliciting, she decides the sexy detective is perfect - for her research . . . and for herself. Now all that's left is Convincing Alex.

Another in the series (actually the final) Jane got me started in. God bless good friends who pass down their books to you. And then forgive you when your new puppy shreds one to bits!!
All in all it was exactly what I expect in a Nora Roberts book. But as Margaret always says, "I've read Nora for so many years, I could write Nora." Having read all four books in the series I'm ready for something new and not so predictable.

This was another classic Nora Roberts book. Interesting characters, romantic fantasy, same love story.....meet, fall in love, break-up due to a misunderstanding, get back together. I like the brothers in this book, their family ties, and the stories that accompanied the love story. A good escape.

The book introduces you to two of the four Stanislaski siblings. I really liked both stories; although Mikhail's touched more of the romantic in me. I would recommend this book to any Nora Roberts fan and/or those who would like a romance novel with a story.

Part of this family is royalty, and they cross paths with another one of her series at one point, but I don't think this is that point. This group was hard for me to follow.

This book contains two novellas filled with typical romance and clashing personalities that are Roberts's de rigueur. It makes for a good beach book.

I definately liked the first story about Mikail better than the one about Alex. But overall both were pretty good stories.
