I won this book with the Goodreads “first-reads” program. Honestly, I have to admit I don’t read poems very often but I realized, with this collection, that poetry can be very evocative and kindle unexpected thoughts in the reader’s mind. Sometimes, it does so good to our inner self to savour and linger on poetry. That’s what this collection brought me: a moment of blissful calm and a fulfilling halt to my frenetic and overwhelming life. I truly enjoyed this collection in complete wondrousness....more
