The heroines father tried to buy off the hero with her virginity, eventually they fell in love anyways and they made love. Eventually hero and heroine ran into each other, hero made a job proposition, together they figured out the truth in the past and remained together married and forever in love.
The worst Anne Mather's book so far, I couldn't believe she actually wrote it
