I enjoyed Tawny's world of "Knights". It's a different plane with an erotic twist. I want to give 5 stars, but I feel that each story within was lacking on the character descriptions. I was not able to fully visualize the characters like I do when I read. Everything else was very descriptive and enjoyable. My favorite story of the three is Wanton Knights. I really liked the way Ronan, Cayne and Kaitlin got along. Even after a rocky start their souls could not resist one another.

This collection of three interconnected stories starts with such promise, which it unfortunately largely fails to deliver. It is a bit of a maze with passages that dead end, and some others that come back around returning to the same place but not going anywhere.
One complaint I had mainly with the first two stories. I found it interesting that the author had the heroine lament about the lack of activity and purpose in their new lives - other than waiting for her two masters to come home and serv...more

The rating is an average between the three books.
Honestly there are a few things that really upset me about the whole idea.
Where to start? Basically the link between the three stories is the same. A human woman that reads far too many romance novels, apparently by some kind of magic she can summon her “Masters” (yes, plural) from another world, the world she is reading about in her books.
My main issue with the idea is how the author puts US down as women.

The first story was okay but the second and third stories seemed to be pretty much just a rehash of the first. Still, it was an interesting premise for an alternate world.
My biggest gripe about this set of stories is that once again, the extremely independent woman heroine becomes a totally dependent and mindless sex toy in her efforts to make the men in her life happy. That really is a trite plot construct and is pretty insulting as well.

I enjoyed the unique premise. The short stories on each of the three triads has left me wanting to know more about the mystery of this one character who slips back and forth between realms.

Nothing exciting happens in Tawny Taylor's life, unless you count giving the cat a flea dip--a cat can make some fascinating sounds when immersed chin-deep in insecticide--or chasing after a houseful of upchucking kids during flu season. She doesn't travel the world or employ a staff of personal servants. She's not even built like a runway model. She's just your run-of-the-mill, pleasantly plump D...more
