Blood Past was f*cking awesome! It was everything I wanted to get out of the Warriors of Ankh series (at least so far). It’s like me and Samantha share the same mind. I ask a question while reading, turn the page and guess what? The answer is there!

Really enjoying this series, enough to make me wanna try out Smokeless Fire & Moon Spell. Eden is a KICKASS heroine and I love Noah as well, definitely book boyfriend worthy :)

I love this book series!!! So good!! I think I liked the first book just a bit more because Eden had that intensely harsh personality that was so much fun. In this book her personality had changed and she was less of what she used to be. Yes, she had been changed by certain events so that affected her and blah, blah, blah, but I still wish she could have kept more of her 'bite me' attitude. She was less 'I'm a lion here me roar' and more of an insecure, nice girl with an occasional rude comment...more
It’s always nice when a series is getting better and this is what happening with the Warriors of Ankh series by Samantha Young. The second book is fast-paced and full of adventure. The biggest part of the book takes place in Scotland and I have to admit that the author does amazing job describing the place there.

Totally love it! Blood Past is amazing just like Blood Will Tell. Samantha Young is a genius author, she's definitely one of my favourite authors of all time.
The book was really great, i couldn't put the book down, i had to read it till i finished it. Blood Past was filled with action, betrayal, love and excitement. It was also nice to read the book with different POV from Eden, Noah and Teagen. The book is well written love the author for that.

Samantha Young has done it again! Another wonderful book to add to her repertoire of works (and I still hold to the statement of her being a genius)!

The story is well- written. And it's just so original. I know that this is the second book in the series but I can't get over how original this story is. After reading the Lunamorte series I was waiting to read the Warriors of ankh series. I loved Blood will tell. It was different than the regular ya books that have come out( you know the vampires, fairies, witches, shapeshifters and Angels). I bought this book for my kindle on the first day and was so excited!!! It continues with Eden going to Scotland to become a full fleged Ankh and rid her self of her souleater part. The idea of the soul eaters, the Ankh, and the Neith is new and refreshing. I like the use of ancient Egyptian religion as the basis of their power as opposed to ancient Greek/Roman.
Eden is an amazing character. She has true strength. Unlike other heroines who are frequently praised by everyone for their strength when, in fact, their kind of wimpy, Eden is the real deal. She learns how to open up and be vulnerable as well in this book, and that takes...more

Blood Past is the second book in the Warriors of Ankh series by Samantha Young. I blew threw the first one, Blood Will Tell, rather quickly and I couldn't wait to start on this one. I completely fell in love with the story line and found myself craving more of Eden's witty way of thinking.

this book made me want to punch the wall and pull my hair out, but not in a good way. I really really liked the first book. I thought it was amazing, dark, creepy, and that the mcs acted more realistically than other ya paranormal romances. I so badly wanted to love this book. but it drug. bad. while the first had me hooked enough to read it in one sitting, this was an agonizingly slow read. every time eden left training to hang out with the other characters, I was expecting teagan to...more

I liked this as much as the first. It had maybe a little less suspense but still a good amount of action and a lot more romance. Also, it was still rather violent, but in a less disturbing way. Not as much talk about it being fun.

This is another excellent book by Samantha Young. It has a bit of a different feel than the first book in the Warriors of Ankh series. In the first book Eden was struggling with the animal inside her, the Soul Eater side of her that craved the souls of others. Samantha Young is an amazing writer! She really knows how to deliver an amazing story with characters that demand your attention from the very first time you meet them(both good and evil). BLOOD PAST is the second book in a spectacular series that just seems to get better with each word that you read. This was a good read. It did move slower than the first book Blood Will Tell. Typically the first book in a PNR/UF series has the major set up. However in this book there are a lot of changes for Eden, and quite a few characters added in. Samantha Young has done a great job of establishing each one of the characters in this book. Even though these books are very quick reads I find them very entertaining and to the point! Tons of action and epic battles, loved each chapter and found it refreshing to see so many characters points of views! you weren't bored with the same old dreary point of view all the time, even though I'm supposed to hate the bad guy, its nice to see things from his twisted side.

What can I say? This is book 2 for the Warriors of Ankh series and it is just as AMAZING as the first.
I am not able to put these books down because I just HAVE TO KNOW what is going to happen. I am so far in to this world that putting it down right now is devastatingly painful.

Ms. Young once again captures my imagination with great world building and amazing characters. I loved reading every single chapter knowing that my mind will be blown. I really wanted to like this one as much as I enjoyed the first Warriors of Ankh book, it was such a wonderful premise and kept me thoroughly intrigued. However, Blood Past has not managed to keep my attention as well as the first, and at times I found myself almost bored.
It is a good story though, and I did enjoy it, but here's where it went down a notch or two:

I don’t know what it is, but I just cannot stop thinking about this series. Blood Will Tell was amazing, and now Blood Past was just as good, if not better. I enjoyed every single minute of it. Or should I say “word?” The minute I finished reading Blood Will Tell, I picked up my Nook and bought the second book in the series. I just can’t get enough!

This story picks right up after part 1. Eden is at odds with her best friend, Noah, after a pretty serious betrayal, and she's experiencing some pretty heavy angst. However, Noah is determined to get her back. They take a trip to Scotland to meet members of her real mother's bloodline and cure her of the soul eater. Blood Past is an entertaining sequel to the Warriors of Ankh series. In this book Eden is learning how to accept her new destiny and training to become a great warrior. Also she is faced with new emotions and feelings when she is surrounded by people who truly care about her.
