What can a coupon queen possibly have in common with a Crown Prince? Everything.

After being accused of attempting to rob a bank that was actually trying to rob them – legally – a coupon queen goes on the run with a Crown Prince who’d been living in the U.S. anonymously for the past year. Armed with only her coupon binder, the two flee the area in an effort to meet up with

If you are looking for a book with hot, steamy filled, sex scenes this is not the book for you. This book is a sweet romance about two people who by unbelievable circumstances find themselves in a heap of trouble. An incognito king meets the coupon queen, when she films him being unfairly accosted at the bank. The bank is mishandling the funds of their customers and choose the wrong account to drain. After being accused of bank robbery, they are on a run for their lives and reputation. With only

As the title suggests, Royal Opposites by Lori Crawford is unashamedly a ‘Cinderella Story’, but it does have some interesting twists. The best analogy I could come up with is “The Prince and Me” meets Jason Statham – lots of ‘edge of your seat’ action, car chases, shooting, a pseudo bank robbery and more. Not only is the story about two people from different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures, but it is also an interracial romance, although this part was not overplayed which I appreciated. ...more
I really loved this book. Granted it's a Cinderella/Prince Charming story, but this Cinderella--a coupon queen named Joan Smith--isn't sitting at the hearthside with sewing mice. Joan finds herself up to her voluptuous neck in financial shenanigans when her bank overcharges her interest for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Unfortunately, the same thing has happened to Crown Prince Saracen Tomas de Raffertias du Bacouer of Rafferstonia (the author never tells exactly where Rafferstonia is). The C ...more

This book was so cute!!! I loved the chemistry between Tom and Joan. Tom is a prince and Joan is a coupon queen. Both use the same bank and when Joan uncovers a scheme, both she and Tom are on the run for their lives from the thugs who won't let anyone ruin their plans. It was an interesting plot and it took the characters on a slew of mini adventures that give the readers an insight into who Tom and Joan are and how good they can be together. It was a really fun read and I recommend this book!

I enjoyed reading this book for the most part. It was fun and had a good pace to it. This is labeled a "sweet" romance and it was. My biggest bother was how we had to keep reading about the guys male anatomy reacting to the woman. Really? Why? You couldn't just say he was attracted? That he enjoyed the view? I dunno. That just ruined it for me. If I could take out those bits I would have given it another star.

I hesitate to describe a book as "cute", but that is the first word that comes to mind with Royal Opposites. It is a cute, fun read. It really is. There are definitely parts of it that aren't "cute" but for some reason, that's the word I want to use. Maybe because some of the concepts used in this book are different than what I've seen before. A coupon queen and a prince? Really not the pairing you expect - at all. And when the situation calls for Joan (the main female) to teach Tom (the main ma ...more
I kinda had high expectations for this book and to a certain degree it met them. The plot line was really interesting and the interactions between the two characters were pretty entertaining at times. The reason why I gave this book an average rating was because of the unnecessary reactions the prince had toward the girl. She's beautiful, we get it. Calm yourself, lol. I also felt let down because 1) the realization of their feelings occured at the very end of the story, which, in my opinion, sh ...more

"Royal Opposites" is fantastic! I finished it a couple of nights ago. I didn't want to put it down, because I wanted to know what happened next. The hero and heroine are indeed opposites. That's what makes this book so much fun! Along with their attraction for each other, they're accused of a crime, go on the run together, end up in a car wreck among other things. And through their adventures, they form a bond and discover their attraction for each other.

The publisher bills itself as a clean or "sweet" publisher, including in its submission guidelines (per its website) that it is looking for clean manuscripts with no graphic sex. This book does not really meet that standard, in my opinion. It is true that the characters do not have sex. But there are multiple sexual references, including repeated mentions and descriptions of the male character' state (and I'm not talking about the fact that he was fit). Not necessary to tell the ...more
3...the characters were good, but I didn't like the storyline much (the whole bank robbery thing) if the author wanted a device to keep them together for a prolonged period of time it could have been handled differently

I liked this. But some parts were too corny and the ending was too abrupt. That's why I just gave it 3 instead of 4 stars.

I have no idea how to describe this book. It was somewhat interesting, but a little boring, not my type of romance novel.

My first read by this author.

Tom and Joan's story. A good old fashioned romance with no heat at all. However, lots of intrigue, murder and drama and lots of twists and turns in the story.

I enjoyed the read!
