Liam Bennett staked his claim to Tanti Baci after stepping in to help the Baci sisters save their family legacy. But Giuliana Baci doubts his motives. They've been at odds since the hot summer long ago that ended in heartache. With the fate of the winery on the line, the former lovers need to get a handle on their barely leashed hostilities-and the attraction that still dr ...more

Ah, a “second chance” Romance. I have been in the mood for one of those lately. I enjoy the sense of depth and connection in the hero and heroine’s relationship when they have a past, so that was definitely a plus with Liam and Guiliana (aka Jules). This was my first book in the Three Kisses series, but I never felt lost. The author did a good job of making the book able to stand on its own. Although I didn’t need to read the first two books to read this one, I had my appetite whetted enough to ...more

I really expected to like this book so much better than I actually did. I generally like Christie Ridgway's books, and had enjoyed the previous two books in this series, so I expected that this would be more of the same for me. Not so. This book didn't work for me on a lot of levels. As a person, Liam sucked. The more detail we learned about him, the less I liked him, which is the opposite of how these books usually work! I like it when an emotionally repressed hero learns to acknowledge his fee ...more

The story between Liam and Giuliana (Jules) has been building since the first book. There has been such a wide range of emotions between the two of them, hostility, anger, and the most important a level of angst coming from both of them. Since we first met the families, we’ve seen Allie and Penn and Stevie and Jack fall in love, and the entire family come together to try and save their winery Tanti Baci. The sisters have planned a Vow-Over W

A lovely wrap-up to the Baci sisters trilogy set in Napa Valley. Guiliana and Liam's path to HEA is pretty rough but as with any Christie Ridgway book there's enough laughs and sweetness to balance out the tears. I especially loved the secondary romance between Khol and Grace.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the precious two. I was really excited to finally find out the story behind all the tension between Liam and Guiliana. Unfortunately I wasn't as wowed as I expected to be. I think part of my problem might have been my high expectations.

Well, quite frankly, the entirety of the main characters' motives and logic was a right mess. Giuliana zigged when she swore she was going to zag, which would have been fine, except there was no real (believable) reason for her to do so. Liam was barely fleshed out. If Liam had wanted so badly NOT to be like his father, he would have done the exact opposite of what he did do (and that storyline [Erin Bell] never really got tied up). I like arrogant asshole heroes in my romance, except for ones w ...more

A easy, quick read, but I felt it was a little disjointed- not the quality of the rest of the series. There were certain things that were thrown in that weren't developed enough.(view spoiler)

Some pretty exciting sex scenes, first time I have read a sex in a fountain scene. Not sure if this is the end of the series. It seems like it was because the epilogue t

A sweet, entertaining CR.
The main reason why I liked this story so much was that it was a well-balanced blend of everything I like in a Contemporary Romance. A small town with quirky people, three sisters with a funny and realistic relationship, not too much drama and not too much fluffiness and lightness either.

The main characters, Giuliana (Jules) and Liam were very well drawn and fit together very well: both stubborn, both very proud, both being the sensible older siblings. But their mental

My thoughts:
This is the third and final book about the 3 Baci Sisters from Napa Valley. It can easily be read as a stand alone (though I did read book 2 but I have not read book 1 yet.)

Giuliana "Jules" Baci fell in love when she was young, but their love story came to a halt and they have not been civil to each other for ten years. Why they broke up is a mystery to everyone else and to the reader. Back to the characters, Jules is the mother hen for her two younger sisters, and Liam is still in h

Can’t Hurry Love by Christie Ridgway is the funny and sometimes bittersweet third story in the Baci sisters trilogy. Having never read Ms. Ridgway before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Although the story started out a little slowly for me, due to not having read the previous two books in the trilogy, I was able to fully enjoy this story. The characters are well written and drew me into their story.

Guiliana “Jules” Baci is an intere

What a satisfying ending to a wonderful series! FINALLY we get to know the reason to the love/hate relationship of Giulliana & Liam. I've been waiting for this from the very beginning & I what a whopper the secret was! I have to honest that I basically guessed most of the BIG secrets since the hints were pretty clear. But to finally find out how Liam really feels about Jules since he's so introverted and almost robot-like with him being so together & perfect that it was nice to see t ...more

Review to comeLiam Bennett and Giuliana Baci have been circling each other for the past year. Whenever the two of them are in the vicinity of the other, they barbs seem to fly. What's behind those barbs are anyone's guess.

Guiliana figures she only has four more weeks at the family winery before she can cut her losses and deal with unfinished business between she and Liam. Although her sister's may not like what's she's planning, she'll keep the promise she made to her mother as she was dying and

This is Guiliana Baci and Liam Bennett's story. Their story has been heavily foreshadowed in the previous 2 books, Crush on You (Three Kisses) and Then He Kissed Me (Three Kisses). I have been looking forward to unraveling their mystery, although by the end of Then He Kissed Me, I had a pretty good hunch on how it would play out.

Very Brief Summary - The 3 Baci sisters inherit the Tanti Baci Winery after their father dies, with Guiliana (Jules) alone inheriting the land upon which the winery sit

This is the third book of the Baci sisters trilogy and features eldest sister, Guiliana (Jules) Baci and Liam Bennett.

Guiliana and her sisters are trying to keep their family business, the Tanti Baci, alive and had given themselves a year to put things to rights. Unbeknownst to her two younger sisters Stevie and Allie, Guiliana has no hopes for saving the business and planned to sell the land on which the winery is on.

Liam is a childhood friend, his family grew up next to the Baci's and he and G

Wow, that was an emotional roller coaster. Mostly for the hero and heroine. I think up until 50% of the novel, I had no idea what those two wanted; one minutes they seem to want to be together and the next they want to break off their relationship. It wasn't until I got to know the two characters better and read what happened ten years ago that I began to understood the internal struggle those two are dealing with.

I wasn't really looking forward to reading this particular novel when I finished

Can’t Hurry Love is a contemporary romance story a third in the Baci Sisters series. Can’t Hurry Love happens to be my first book by Ms. Christie Ridgway.

Can’t Hurry Love is a love story that takes place near Napa Valley, California. The main characters are Liam Bennett, a wealthy winery owner and Guiliana (Jules) Baci the eldest of three Baci sisters and part owner of Tanti Baci Winery. The plot centers around the Baci and Bennett’s family rivalry, the Baci family financial troubles and the sex

I guess this is the book I liked the least in the series.
As could easily be guessed, Liam and Giuliana had an history, that did not end so well 10 years ago. Since then both of them seem extremely bitter, aggressive to one another when they cannot avoid each other, since Giuliana moved back one year before.
Sincerely I was getting really annoyed that the hero would systematically avoid giving any information regarding his feeling at the time of the fallout or at the current time and making such

My Review:
E.MO.TION.AL. That was the word for this book. Throughout this entire book, my heart just ached for Liam & Giuliana. Two lovers that have obviously never gotten over their love for each other, I can't tell you how many times throughout this book that I teared up. It was so good!

There is a HUGE history between Liam & Giuliana. So far, they have manag

This is the first book i read from this author and series. Overall, I was pretty engrossed with the plot and the story because of all the tension between Giuliana and Liam, also Grace and Kohl (who I loved together as a couple and had actually hoped that they had a bigger spotlight and storyline in the book. I actually live quite close to Napa valley so a lot of the wine valley descriptions are accurate, and the story really hits pretty close to home.

However in terms of the actual story and cha

This is my very first Christie Ridgway way book and i was not disappointed. It's funny that I started with the last book in the series but that just makes me want to go out and start again from the beginning. And I shall!!

The story is about Liam and Giuliana and from my understanding their tension has been building since the first book and I love a good tension story. Not only did they have the tension building but had tons of emotions between the two of them. Hostility and anger being some. The

I just finished Can't Hurry Love yesterday. I read the first book in the series ages ago but I never read the second book. I didn't feel at all lost reading the books out of order. I felt like I couldn't put the book down. I'm not sure that it'll find a place on my keeper shelf, but I NEEDED to find out what happened. The book caught my interest from the beginning and Ms. Ridgeway was really intriguing with the hints of secrets and motivations. This book felt very emotional and I felt drawn in t ...more

After reading the first two books in the Three Kisses series, Crush on You and Then He Kissed Me, I was pleasantly surprised at the fun conclusion.

The first two books alluded the growing tension between Giuliana and Liam. In the conclusion to the trilogy we find out the cause of the ten year feud that has only worsened as time has gone by.

The secondary story for Kohl and Grace is extremely strong, and the newness experienced in their story line is wonderful complement to year long back story o

The end to the Napa Valley trilogy was pretty interesting but very melodramatic. Although, that was understandable given that Jules and Liam had such a messed up past.

I always LOVE the last book in a romance series with each book being about sisters/friends. seriously christie blew me away.

I love Giuliana and Liam !!! Their story is amazing. Giuliana is a hot mess. she is strong, stubborn, independent, and awesome. Liam is the oerfect match for her in everyway but long ago since they broke eachothers hearts. they ahv a ton of baggage and old feelings to et out of their way before they can be happy once again. But can she let it happen, let herself be that op

I enjoyed this light romance. There is good romantic tension between the main characters and a sweet secondary romance as well as a resolution to the winery issues (at least for now). The stubbornness of the characters is a bit annoying, but the fun of the romance kept my interest.

Finally, we get the story of Giuliana, the oldest Baci sister, and Liam Bennett. As the heavy hints placed in the two previous books in the series promised, Liam and Jules have a romantic past. They have to work through that here. She just wants to fulfill her obligation to her sisters (she promised that they could try for a year to bring their family vineyard back to its original glory) and then get out of town. Seeing Liam is just too painful. But Liam has some ideas of his own. He wants Giuli ...more

I will have to say out of the three books in this series this one I liked least. I had trouble getting into it. It picked up around page 98. From that point on it moved faster. But I have to admit I also felt the ending was a little rushed. Even though the book had its flaws there were parts of it that I really loved. I am sad that its the last one in the series but I'm happy that she was about to give Kohl a happy ending in this story. And I like the twist in the story. Can't tell you what it i ...more
