Before I started reading the thing, I was wondering whether it be better to read about one game and play it instantly, or to read through it all and put markers on each game I eventually want to play. I decided for the latter and ended up with a book that has a marker on almost every page. DAMNIT, indie games. Stop being so fantastic. Anyway, this is a great book for everybody who wants to get a first look on indie games and what other stuff is out there. Highly recommended!

A good point of reference if you're not in the gaming loop and want a few tips on where to start with indie games. A brief summary and screenshot isn't always enough to give you the low down on whether you should check out a recommendation, but every entry at least has a website link for download or further information. If you're the type that's already deep in the rabbit hole, you might catch a few that flew under the radar... but chances are you'll have played (or be aware of) most of them.
If you're looking for a book to introduce you to the indie gaming scene then you can go far wrong with this one. It presents a nice selection of some of the best indie games out there from the absurd to the wonderful.

With independent developers and games becoming the next big thing in the gaming industry it's great to have a foot in the door with 250 great games that show you the wonders that indie developers are capable of.
I love books like this, That spotlight the independent areas (books/movies/music/etc). This is a pretty great round up of the video games that you might not have heard of but should definitely check out!

No es nada más que una lista que ni siquiera está buena, tiene muchos juegos que nada más se subieron al tren de "Vamos a ponerle gráficas de Atari 2600"
Great for what it is - an interesting & quick survey of a variety of indie games.
