A spine tingling tale of a demolition crew sent to the mysterious Berkley Hall. Although the place could be restored the owner insists on it being demolished and here is the first clue that something is wrong. Actually, from the moment of their arrival the crew are subjected to a whole string of happenings. This is the kind of story that has you shouting at your book/screen, DROP EVERYTHING! This short story has all the ingredients of a ghost story; the haunted location, eerie noises, a group of interesting characters. It does, however, keep you guessing and wondering who or what the evil is within, and so you can't put it down until you reach the end. An enjoyable quick read for those who like to be scared but not too scared!! Would recommend
This short ghost story is about the demolition of an old manor house, the author utilises suspence, atmosphere and nicely drawn characters to draw the reader in. The story builds nicely, keeping you guessing - to a chilly conclusion. Very enjoyable read, and in my opinion would make a fantastic radio dramatisation!
