This was done great for a short story to SECOND CHANCE, first novel in Chances Are series. Writing is very good and captivating on the mystery that starts this series about Emma. Can't give you more since its short, but its worth the free read and on to reading more of this author for sure!

Nice introduction to Emma and Harmon. Gives a nice glance into how circumstances came to be. I look forward to reading Second Chances.

I’m not your “normal” writer. I didn’t aspire from a young age to become a writer. My last day of high school, my English teacher said, “There is a book in each of you. Whether it’s a how-to, non-fiction, fiction—find that book.” I thought, right.

My hubby reads a lot, so I began to pick up the books he’d buy—mysteries and thrillers. But he traveled, so I only read while he was in town…too scared...more
