Nice basic anthropological introduction to issues of race and racism focusing on US but with some nice cross-cultural comparisons. - Should be accessible to my high school students - that's the plan anyway. Nice overview of history of race, intelligence and mental testing and how "science" has been used throughout the years to "prove" racial inequality.
