Like another reviewer said, this series really is like some weird teen soap opera. It's like a train wreck I can't stop reading. This book was slightly better than the first, but other than an unexplainable fascination I couldn't tell you why I'll be downloading the 3rd book directly after writing this review. The characters in this book are kind of awful. Gage & Logan are probably the better of them all but Gage is kind of pathetic letting Skyla lead him on, Logan has to publicly humiliate...more

My review from http://bookscoffeewineandchocolate.bl...

Tremble was definitely a wine book with a bit of chocolate thrown in there thanks to Logan's well-intentioned but just all around messed-up plan to keep Skyla safe.

Too bad he didn't take her heart into consideration.

Logan's idea to have Gage pose as Skyla's boyfriend while he plays the part of "scary loner" (whatever, asshat) seemed like it might be a good idea, until Logan tries to make their supposed separation as believable as possible to...more

I have just finished 'Tremble' the sequel to 'Ethereal' and Woah! This book is like a maze, just when you think you going the right way Bam! Your lost. It's so addictive thought!
In this book I did see more into Skylars life and I have gotta say, for everything this girl is going through shes handling it all so well!:) Go Skylar!

I love Gage! I swear down I'd marry that boy in a heart beat! He's just so under rated in these books, he does everything to save everyone and gets like no credit! Give t...more

Damn you Addison Moore and your sly sly moves and cliffhanger!

I feel like the writing in this book is better opposed to the first in the series. Either that, or I've somehow gotten used to her strange(seemingly immature) writing style. I feel like sentences are less abrupt, but the chapters still are from one to the next. Anyway, at least the plot is a little more coherent and easier to figure out what the hell is going on. It seems she is linking one event to the next better. I'm still not thr...more

Skyla is one lucky angel who soon discovers is part of an extinct angel species!!! In this sequel to Ethereal, Logan convinces Skyla that it would be better for them to pretend to no longer be involved in order to through of the Sector searching for them to destroy them. This plan forces Skyla to engage in a pretend relationship with Gage, who has never tried to hide his affection for her. Soon she begins to realize that her feelingd for Gage are not so pretend, as the three of them start to rea...more

All I have to say about this book is WOW. I was drawn in from the first page and finished this book in one sitting. Luckily my 1 year old was at the babysitter’s for the day so I could have some mommy time :) The plot to this book builds on the previous book with Skyla trying to survive know that she knows what she is and others are finding out.

There are so many surprises in this book that I simply did not see coming. Addison really outdid herself with this book. I spent half the book in shock a...more

Tremble, the second book in the Celestra series did not disappoint. I read it on my Kindle in one day. It was a quick and adrenaline pumping read. In this read the Counts are still out to capture Skyla, the most powerful Celestra with the purest blood. In this adventure the usual suspects return. Skyla and her boyfriend Logan, her fake boyfriend Gage, her best friend Brielle and her boyfriend Drake who is also Skyla's step brother, the ghost of Chloe, Ellis and Michelle. In Tremble things become...more

Not much character improvement from the first book. Unless you count Skyla being more selfish and doesn't make any sense is some kind of improvement.
I try to talk myself to like Skyla and understand the reason behind her awful decisions, but no. I can't help it. Skyla is just petty and selfish and think that the world just revolves around her. and only her.
she's with Logan, but at the same time can't resist the urge to be with Gage. As if TWO boys isn't enough. She's going around with Marshall...more

First off I will say the Fems freak me out, this book goes a little darker and I don’t trust Chloe at all…So first I’ll start with what I don’t like:

1) Skyla seems to be a bit childish still, I know it’s just after the first book, but still she seems to be getting worse as far as a character, it’s hard to relate sometimes. I know she’s a teenager, but man is that girl fickle. I’m in the Gage camp right now though.

Ok that was the big thing that bothered me. Now with what I liked, the rest of the...more

They say that patience is a virtue. Unfortunately it's one virtue I am sorely lacking. Let me explain.

I just finished Tremble, and considering it was only recently released, I obviously must wait for the next installment in the Celestra series. I suck at waiting.

Once again Addison Moore delivers a heart-pounding, sigh-inducing roller coaster ride of "angelic" fear, fun, and fantasy.

Picking up where Ethereal left off, Tremble does not disappoint. We learn more about Skyla and her abilities, more...more

Well wow, theres alot to say about Tremble. Right away this book got me frustrated. And it got better near the end. Everything in between was alot of me wanting to slap somebody.

Lets start with Skyla, she just gets me so frustrated, she does things that leave you thinking, is she crazy or just dumb. For example : we know that Logan is pretending to be broken up with her and he starts talking to Carly, or at least we're hoping he's pretending, anyway, Skyla had to go and make a big scene and make...more

It is impossible for me to write a detailed review of TREMBLE without spoiling it! I want to dig into every little bit of the crazy, hot goodness that filled this book. It was so much fun. TREMBLE took off in ways I never imagined. I thought the series would be this sweet story about a girl with angelic heritage and the boys who love her. Uh uh. Not even close. TREMBLE is insanity in the best way possible. There's action, crazy time-jumping, and swoony romance.

Skyla is still the same headstrong,...more

If you read my review for book 1 on this book I read it because the serise was given such good reviews, book 1 was something I endured quickly and was excited to start on book 2 so that I could finlally get into the stuff that everyone has been gushing about..... as I finished this book I am tapping my feet still waiting for something exciting. The storyline is SO far fetched, I mean yes, I know I read books about vampires, angels, and magic so if I say this is far fetched then we have a problem...more

This book was better than the first book in this series. The writing was a little bit more polished, and the pacing was a little better. I still felt like the chapters ended a little too abruptly -- not exactly like a cliff-hanger type ending to the chapters that you find in books like The DaVinci Code, but instead as if the chapters abruptly ended without really finishing the story they were telling. I would finish the chapter on edge and then quickly start reading the next chapter, only to fin...more

Today's review is on Tremble by Addison Moore

Tremble is the second installment in Moore's Celestra series, and though it is as such, it could possibly be a great stand alone book as well.
With it's creative and imaginary world, the reader becomes instantly invested in the lives of Skyla, Logan, and Gage.

Tremble is action and emotion packed as the young trio continues to try and keep Skyla safe from the Counts, and sometimes from herself. With her ability to time travel coming easier, Skyla is det...more

Tremble was one of those books I couldn't put down. You know, the kind that's so addicting you tear through a few pages while you're waiting at stop lights? It was that good.

Life was complicated enough for Skyla in Ethereal when it was just Logan and Gage fighting for her, but Tremble introduces a third would-be suitor for her, Marshall, the kind of guy dads pray their teenage daughters never come in contact with. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but three guys vying for one girl? That's...more

TREMBLE (Book 2 Celestra series) by Addison Moore

TREMBLE is the 2nd book in Addison Moore’s Young Adult Celestra series. Addison continues the fast-paced, misguided adventures of Skyla Messenger and her group of supernatural friends and frenemies. And like many 16 year old girls, Skyla Messenger refuses to back down or take no for an answer. And when all is said and done, she will risk the lives of everyone she knows and loves.

Skyla is a pure Celestra- a species of angel that is hunted for their...more

So glad I bought this series! This is the 2nd book in the Celestra series, following up Etheral. This book is a page turner. I hated that I had to wait for the 3rd one. What a cliffhanger at the end!

The reason I love this series is for both the romance as well as the storyline with the angels. We get to know all the characters better and I am definitely attached! I have as many questions as Skyla does, maybe more. I have to say, I don’t understand why Skyla doesn’t question her mother….if she is...more

ughhh Logan or Gage....Logan or Gage...or...Marshall?...I love this series so far, however the continuing relationships between Skyla and all 3 guys is making me crazy. I am not a big fan of "I am totally in love with this guy, ohh but I am kinda in love with this guy too, and wait...that other guy might do it for me as well"..PICK ALREADY(atleast go down to 2) I happen to feel the relationship between Skyla and Logan is the most genuine, it was always him from the moment they met and even thoug...more

This is one of those series that I really want to know what happens in the end but I am not super intrigued by the actual books. I think the authors writing style is what puts me off. I don't like that each chapter picks up somewhere else or with a different character with no real conclusion of what was just happening.

I will continue to read as I am one of those people that just has to know how it all ends. I have NEVER not finished a book and this series is just one really long book to me.

Gah I hate the lead character in this book. I hate Sky...I really do. I hate her. I hate the lead guy too. Logan is just an ass. He is horrible. I don't like much about this well except Gage even though he is so stupid! Ahhhh, and even with all that hate I still liked the book. The story is hard to follow, the jumping from here to there in time is awkward and obnoxious but I still am dying to figure out how it is going to end and what is going to happen. There are things reviled that I don't eve...more

This was a really fun book. It had the same feel to it that Ethereal had, where you find yourself breathing hard and on the edge of your seat. I experienced a lot of emotions reading it, but I was surprised at how much I really hated some of the characters (and thats is a good way since you are supposed to hate them.)

I loved the imagery in the beginning, and through the book. I really liked the new character Marshall, but I also didn't know if I wanted to like him. I was really surprised by a re...more

I wish I could say this book made me love the series more but that wasn't the case. Although I love Gage and the other characters Skyla is a different story. Just like book one she is immature, selfish and cold-hearted. I don't like the way she is using everyone to her advantage. I don't like the way she is going along with Logan's plan of dating Gage when she knows that Gage has feelings for her. She only thinks about herself and what she wants. Logan is also the same way as Skyla and for that...more

OK! so this was like, even better than Ethereal. One reason is because of Gage, because he's like the sexiest character ever.

So these books are definitely the love it or hate it type book, and I loved it.

In this book, Skyla and Logan can't be together because the Countenance are coming for them, but they can't come after her if she's with a Levatio. Gage is a levatio, so they start "dating" But Gage apparently actually has feelings for her, and she kind of does too. So theres a love triangle, bu...more

I absolutely loved the characters we learned about in Ethereal, but in Tremble, you get to know them (and some secrets) a lot better. Skyla is such a cute character who is stuck dealing with normal teenage drama (but on a heightened level), people out for her blood, enemies within her circle of friends, etc. This book delivers on the suspense factor, the intrigue of what the characters are hiding, and the freaking love triangle that makes you scream, "Pick Gage, no wait, wait, pick Logan." And t...more

SOLID second book. I can honestly say that I am consumed with this series. The only thing negative I will say is that the characters are a tad undeveloped, I'd like to see more of Gage and Logan's personalities. I feel that in that sense the book is lacking a lot of depth. Onto the positive, it's sassy, adventurous, romantic! Paragon is a beautiful place in my mind. I definitely identify with the narrator, Skyla. Not to mention, I adore Logan, but he really needs to stop keeping secrets. I love...more

I'll start off with what I like about this book. It has a cool cover. I have the kindle version, so the cover doesn't matter, but I still like it.

Now on to the bad:

The writing is very juvenile and the editing is awful. There are so many awkward sentences and misspelled words (rouge instead of rogue, heard instead of herd, etc). One line that is used way too many times throughout these books is "I pulled a face." I don't even know what that means!

I read this book and the third book back to back,...more
