At first I didn't know what to make of this book...then I was ignoring as much reality as I possibly could just so I could find out what the brilliant and autistic doctor Adam Karl was going to do in the hopes of getting out of a conspiracy that seems unjustly thrown into his lap. As a long time lover of conspiracies and mysteries, this book slacked that noir-thirst while providing such a new and unique set of characters that you will be hooked after the first page.

An intriguing tale with an intriguing main character. Dr. Adam Karl has several ssrious problems and they don't just start with his attempted assassination. He is a neurologist with a special form of autism that makes it impossible for him to distinguish emotions or recognize faces. The limitation not only hinders him in his investigation into who is trying to kill him, but in every part of his life.
