5+ stars – Paranormal Romance

Reading one of Larissa Ione’s Demonica novels is a naughty good time, like getting a pedicure and going shopping with your best friend on a hooky day from work, eating the best Vosges or Godiva chocolate, getting flirted with at the grocery store by a hot guy when you’re in sweats and wearing no makeup, or having a happy hour with your best gal pals and laughing and talking about men and sex over Mexican martinis. Yep...Ecstasy Unveiled is deliciously wicked fun alr

Larissa Ione hit the ground running with this one, and I was along for the ride. What can I say? I loved Lore. I felt so bad for him. Ms. Ione brought him to full, vibrant life for me. I do love my assassin characters, so Lore was already in there for me. However, it was his vulnerability and his sense of loneliness which opened the door of my heart fully. I wanted to beat up Shade and Wraith for being mean to him. He needed their support, and they could hardly judge him, considering that they h ...more

The 4th book in the amazing Demonica series and guess what? I EXTREMELY enjoyed it! Didn't disappoint me, and i think this series never will.

Lore and his twin sister Sin have been enslaved by the demon Detharu for years, forced to act as assassins on his behalf. Lore has finally been offered a chance to escape though, he just has to make one final kill and then he will be free. Failure is not an option, especially when the penalty would be the death of the sister that h
Dear Lore,

If I didn't love Annie so much, I would definitely steal you from her and hide you away somewhere she would never find you. Alas, my love for her stops me from abducting you. I know you are upset about this. Try not to be too crushed by this loss.

Besides, I don't think I could handle Shade's jealousy anyway.

Hugs Not Drugs,

This book has been the most emotional one for me thus far in the Demonica series. Ecstasy Unveiled has pulled my emotions all over the place with all the emotiona

What can I say, what can I say. I love this series, I love this book, and would be willing to make some questionable deal with the devil for a little bit of Lore. I love me some Sem boys, and this book was all kinds of explosive. I don’t know what it says about a person when you are willing to go head to head, with four brothers. I would take them all on, they are so delicious, soooo “mmmm, mmmmm good”.

I don’t want to spend too much time explaining what this series is

HA! , You want to hear something completely stupid on my behalf? I hoped on the computer this morning with the sole purpose of writing this review. But like usual got distracted with everything else that was happening on GR. After about an hour, decided to hop off and start my day. It wasn't until I had turned off the computer and was half way through making my bed when the thought occurred to me that I had forgotten to do something. Needless to say that the string of curses that followed the ...more

(This is a review of the audiobook.) I know I’ve heard Paul Boehmer narrate before, I just can’t remember which book. Or maybe it’s that his voice rings a bell from all the movies and T.V. he's been in. I can swear he did the voice of a robotic or artificial intelligence entity, because that keeps tickling the back of my mind.

Nevertheless, I like his sexy voice while reading the forth installment of Larissa Ione’s

My heart goes into pitter-patter mode when I think of the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. Hot demons, great action, humorous and the kind of smut that makes you break out into a sweat. Ecstasy Unveiled did not disappoint – I was completely entertained throughout the story.

Lore is a Seminus demon who needs sex to survive, problem is, if anyone touches his glyphs or “dermoire” on his right arm, they drop dead instantly. Kind of a buzz kill in the bedroom. In the previous book in this series, Pass
Wow, another great book in the Demonica series. Ms. Ione manages to write sexy fun stories that keep me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next.

Lore is a half Seminus demon half human assasin. He owes one more kill to his master before he is freed from a contract he entered into to help his twin sister Sin. The problem is that the target is a friend of his three newly found demon brothers but with the only other option being his sister's death, Lore goes after Kynan where h

Do you know how sometimes you don't like a book because you had so high expectation for it that once you get to read it you are not able to enjoy it as much as you would have like to?
Well that was so NOT the case with this book. I had higher expectations for it than for any other book I had in my TBR pile, and let me say that it was a huge 5 stars rating!

As all the other books in this series, this 4th installment does not disappoint. I was hooked since page one, it only took me less than a day t

Lore is in a bind. He has to kill his target otherwise his sister Sin will be killed, but by saving his sister he will lose the brothers he has just found, and worse he will have to kill his target's beautiful protector Idess to do it. But who is setting this impossible situation up, tearing up the Sem brothers and dragging the UGH down into choas.

This was a great installment in the Demonica series, Lore and Idess were a fab couple. Idess is actually my favourite female in this so far, she was

Quicky review! LOVED it! Best of the series so far but again I say that after everyone of them. The next book is going to have its work cut out for it to top this one. I'm really excited to get to the next one but this was so good I'm actually not going into it expecting much.

This series just introduces a ton of characters and the series just keeps building. It is done flawlessly. And the steamy in this one was HOT. But for me it felt more real and I don't know if it was better or if it is becau

OMG...I forgot how much I loved this was a great read...loved Lore & Idess...I got this read in two short days. I just flew threw it. It had everything I look for in a great book, fast paced, action packed and lots of hot sweaty love making. If you love your PNR on the dark side you'll love this one.

I love doing rereads of books I loved. This one is no exception. I think I loved it even more the second time around. ECSTASY UNVEILED is such an amazing book, this entire series is amazing.

I already said it but I'll say it again, I absolutely adore Larissa's writing style and this spectacular universe she created. Reading her books is always a pleasure, they transport me into this world where everything is possible and where sexy-as-hell demons exist.

I think this is Ione’s best yet. I must have had one of my infamous brain farts because I had no idea that Idess was an angel until she was mentioned. As you can tell, I ran out and bought this book and immediately started reading without even reading the back blurb. Yes, I was that excited.

We met Lore in Passion Unleashed aka Wraiths story. Remember, he was the cute assassin guy who has to wear a glove, who also had a

Wow! This book is over the top! There is so much going on in this book you may think it will overwhelm you (if it does, slow down).I didn’t have a problem with it,I thought it is brilliant!! I have to hand it to Larissa it’s not one bit confusing.

Now let me tell you what you’ll find in this book, assassins, ghost’s, a new sister to a few bro’s, action, great romance, angels, Grim reaper (I loved that one!), Evil villain (I never expected who it was, it floored me when I read it).
Clearly, I can't rate anything lower than 5 stars for Larissa Ione's Demonica series. They are all so wonderful. The perfect mix of fantasy, action, romance, humor, and sex. There are few authors who can even put two of these together into an epic plotline, but Ms. Ione excels at it.

Book 4 follows our brand new Sem brother, Lore. He happens to be the oldest and a half-breed, considering his human mother, but it also leaves him with the "gift" of Death/Life Arm. He brings back Kynan from death i

And the awesome continues!

Book 4 in the Demonica series brings us the story of Lore… the newly discovered brother of Eidolon, Shade and Wraith. An enslaved assassin, he is brought screeching into his brother’s lives when his next target hits very close to their hearts. To complicate matters, Lore’s target has an angel protecting them – Idess, a sexy, sassy female who knows how to kick some ass.

I absolutely adore Lore! Tortured, cynical, and seemingly indifferent to all that goes on around him,

Oh, this series just keeps getting better and better! Here, we see Lore, the Sem bros newest brother get caught up in his assassain's past. Oh, and big twist, he has a twin sister named Sin..but there are no female Seminus demons!!! But she's a female seminus demon! and it looks like she and Connell will hook up again in the next book :) This had so much action, and so much emotion, and putting an angel into the mix really made it good. I loved Idess and Lore, they are my favorite couple so far. ...more

*looks at date started* December 31, 2013. LOLOLOLOL.

OK So when I first started it so long ago I got annoyed and had to stop. I suspect it was because I binge read Demonica 1-3 back to back and got annoyed with the villain and having to read his pov. See that's an issue for me in books, multiple POVs and having a POV from the antagonist. I prefer being surprised when the main characters are, I prefer not to wait for the other shoe to drop while the protagonists have no idea what's going on and I

I was browsing the bookstore when this cover caught my eye. I read the back of it and figured I'd give it a try. I wish I would have known it was part of a series first. Unfortunately this book does not stand on its own well at all. There were so many characters running around that I was irritated. I found Lore's newly discovered brothers especially irritating. I suppose if I had read their books first I would have had some investment in them and might have been glad to read about them again. Ob ...more
Lore's story is in a class all it's own. From the beginning he s given the task as an assassin to kill someone close to his brothers.

Lore is a Seminus half breed. His "gift" is touching people with his dermoire tattoo-like hand and they die. He also has fears of killing females when he climaxes, so he's avoided sex. Until he mets Idess.

Idess is an angel. Almost. She needs to earn her wings. Born on earth and raised believing she is human Idess has only ever wanted to be an Ascended angel. When s

Yet another 5-star book for Larissa Ione. With the fourth installment of the Demonica series, I swear the stories just keep getting better. And with each book I find myself wondering ‘how do I get a Seminus demon??’

Lore, our hero and the long lost brother of Eidolon, Shade and Wraith, does a pretty good job holding his own next to his brothers. As a bit of a tortured soul who is short-tempered, lethal and fiercely hot, you can certainly see the family resemblance. I really liked Lore and he was

Ok, so seriously.. Where can I buy me, my own Lore?

Sweet Jesus, I think I may be in love.. :)

Gods, I loved this book.. Definitely me favorite so far, in this series.. Lore.. Mmm.. *Drooling* and Idess.. They were just too perfect.. I loved the build up from the start.. I loved their interaction, and even though I think its annoying if the heroine is too sweet and sappy, Idess were ust perfect, and her 'sweetness' just made her better IMO.. And then there is Lore.. Mmmm.. I want him.. Thats all I
I think the same thing at the end of each of these books. Wow. They just stay so freaking good. I was nervous with this one. When first introduced to Lore I was a little on the fence. New brother, bad, bad guy. Well, I am the first to admit how wrong I was. I loved Lore. There was so much to him. He was very, very broken and was in desperate need to be redeemed. The want for his brothers was beautiful and I wanted it for him so much. And then there is an Angel…well, an almost Angel. I had no ide ...more

“Congratulations on the new spawn, by the way."
"Well," Gem said, "that was better than what Wraith said." She lowered her voice and did an imitation of Wraith. "Way cool about the fuck-trophy.”
“Tayla cursed under her breath. "I was just explaining to Eidolon that Sin is a Smurfette."
Wraith swung his big body around to study Sin with blue eyes that were very different from Shade's, E's. and Lore's. Sin's, too. "Nah. Smurfette is way hotter."
"What the fuck is a Smurfette?" Eidolon was seriously getting annoyed now.
"There's this cartoon called The Smurfs," Tayla explained, slowly, as though Eidolon were the child here.
"They're these little blue people, and they're all male. But one day a female shows up. She shouldn't exist, but she does."
Eidolon considered that for a second. "How did she get there?"
"An evil wizard named Gargamel made her," Tayla said. "In a lab or something."
"So you're suggesting that an evil wizard made Sin?"
"Of course not, silly. I'm just saying she's a Smurfette. A lone female amongst males."
Eidolon frowned. "Did the Smurfette mate with the males?"
"Dude." Wraith grimaced. "It's a cartoon.”
