What can I say except I've been waiting for this book a long time and it doesn't disappoint.
Chloe is the youngest among Tara and Maddie and unlike them she was raised by her unconventional mother Phoebe moving all over, never having any roots, not knowing her father or forming connections, so she is called the wild-child, reckless, fun and irresponsible but still lovable.
And ever since all three sisters inherited the B&B, Chloe is evolving a bit, getting used to accepting More...

It never stops to amaze me how much power a book has, how mere words can make you feel like your heart will blow into a million pieces. It's overwhelming, and definitely something I would have never believed possible before I started reading this much and discovering such amazing reads. I will admit a couple of years ago I was one of those people who read 1 or 2 books a YEAR. And yes, I did say 'A YEAR',lol. I guess it used to be mere entertainment before, something to do with too much free time

5 stars – Contemporary Romance
Wow! I absolutely loved this!
I’ve enjoyed the previous Lucky Harbor stories, but Chloe and Sawyer are my favorite couple of the series. Chloe is a quirky, softhearted free spirit, but Lucky Harbor, her sisters, and Sawyer make her inner wanderer yearn to put down roots. Sawyer is a stern, protective, by-the-book sheriff and a reformed bad boy who’s still 100% hot, sexy, rugged, alpha male. YUM! These two set the pages on fire! The outdoor More...

Jill Shalvis has done it yet again. With a cast of heartwarming and sometimes quirky characters, she has done a splendid job in bringing to life the story of my two favorite protagonists from the Lucky Harbor series. Jax Cullen and his toolbelt (yep, still talking about that one every chance I get), just might have to move over and make room for the big, brawny and hotter-than-sin-in-uniform, bad-boy turned Sheriff of Lucky Harbor Sawyer Thompson.

Once again Jill Shalvis has made magic happen in Lucky Harbor, in an absolutely delightful, sexy, and heartwarming addition to the series. She’s given us a beautiful love story and truly incredible characters who jump off the page, becoming honest-to-God living, breathing, feeling people who I can’t help but adore.

"Sheriff Sawyer Thompson.
He practically had to duck to come in. He was in uniform, gun at his hip, expression dialed to Dirty Harry, and just looking at him had something pinging low in Chloe's belly.
He didn't appear to have the same reaction to her, of course. Nothing rippled Sawyer's implacable calm or got past that tough exterior. And he did have a hell of an exterior. At six feet three inches, he was built like a linebacker. But in a stunning defiance of More...

There's something that is such a comfort in reading a Jill Shalvis book. Her stories are consistently great. They are funny, charming reads with just the right dose of emotion. No matter what series of hers I'm reading, I'm pretty much guaranteed to enjoy it immensely. The Lucky Harbor series is one of my very favorites!

Chloe snorted, and Sawyer’s eyes cut to hers. “Like you’d want to be called sweet,” he said.
“Not me,” she said. “But then again, I’m not even halfway close to being sweet.”
And truthfully, neither was he, she thought. He was big and bad and alpha and gorgeous and smart and brave and loyal…
But not sweet. Hell no.

Engaging story. This is my favorite Jill Shalvis series (not that I’ve read that many of her books). I like the sisters, and I can do the small town romance stories when it’s done well. This is still not as good as Toni Blake’s ‘Destiny’ series; but easily as good as Robin Carr’s first four ‘Virgin River’ books (which were the best of that series).
I liked Sawyer a little more than Chloe; I guess I connected with him more. I also liked that she had a health issue that was handled r More...

A 4-ish book...maybe a weak 4, but better than a 3. A very good read. Sawyer as the strong-but-silent type and Chloe as the reforming wild child were a surprisingly good match. I'd expected to be annoyed with Chloe after seeing her irresponsible and impulsive nature in the previous two books, but she definitely grew up in the year since the three sisters moved to Lucky Harbor. I really liked Sawyer's actions-speak-louder approach, and it was especially sweet, insightful, and romantic to see them

It's been a year now since Chloe Traeger and her two half sisters, Maddie and Tara moved to the town of Lucky Harbor. The half sisters inherited an old beach inn from their late mother. In that year the sisters have worked together and renovated the beach inn and turned it into a bed and breakfast. Head Over Heels is the third novel in the Lucky Harbor series, which feature the sassy and funny half-sisters Tara, Maddie, and Chloe. The three of them run a B&B in the quaint town of Lucky Harbor. This time around, it is Chloe's turn to try to find love and to see if Sawyer is "inhaler worthy," since she is very asthmatic. Chloe is the wild child of the family because of her upbringing, and she has a hard time showing her emotions and letting people get close to her. Sawyer, the sher

After all the positive reviews I decided to sink my teeth into this whole opposite attracts love story. The pattern showed great promise and I was eager to read more about these 2 wounded souls; Sawyer was just right and loveable and at first his happy go lucky redhead sounded charming before turning tedious; but I'm simply unimpressed with this book.

The Lucky Harbor series has become one of my favorite contemporary series, and Head Over Heels didn't disappoint.
Over the past year, Chloe has moved to the small northern town of Lucky Harbor, has come to know her two half-sisters Tara and Maddie, and together, they have renovated and opened their own bed and breakfast. While Chloe helps out with all the chores around the B&B, she is an aesthetician and loves to create natural products for spa treatments. She is known as the "wild chi More...

Jill Shalvis has brought another witty romance into my life with her latest book, Head Over Heels. She did an amazing job bringing together such wonderful characters in the Town of Lucky Harbor. Her characters are more lovable, they are absolutely extraordinary. Although I did enjoy Sawyer, Ford will always hold my heart.

Loved Chloe and hot, sexy Sawyer together. The buildup of their relationship through her sister's book had us panting as readers wanting their story. This one didn't disappoint. Shalvis didn't ignore her asthma issues and I thought it was handled in a sweet fashion by Sawyer. We also get to meet the cast of some of the other books coming up. Do y'all think that Todd could ever be a hero for his own book? If you haven't read this series, I would start with the first, as there is a lot of characte

GET. IT. NOW. :D I am in love love love! I loved Chloe from the beginning, she is an awesome awesome character and funny as hell! You could tell in the beginning that sparks were flying between her and the swoon worthy sheriff but they are both stubborn people. This book had me laughing out loud in so many places! This one is by far my most favorite book out of the series and I know they only get better with each one that comes out.

My Review:
Ever since we met Chloe with her debilitating asthma and her contentious relationship with the town sheriff, Sawyer, I have been excited about their story. I just knew that it was going to be wonderful and I was so right! This was a WONDERFUL book! This book epitomizes everything that I love about contemporary romance.

Never before has a nebulizer become a symbol of love. But a nebulizer in Jill Shalvis’s hands will move you more than dozens of roses and chocolate ever could.

For pure fluff, this was not bad. I liked the characters and Chloe's sassy attitude. Of course, even though I got it because it was fluff doesn't mean I turned my brain off. The plot was fairly slim; aside from the romance of Sawyer and Chloe, most of the book consisted of learning the details of Sheriff Sawyer's busy days. The tangle with the bad guy at the end was predictable; the author had given enough hints for me to know that at some point Todd was going to come after Chloe although I give

This is the 3rd book in the Lucky Harbor series and I'm loving it. I think the first two (Simply Irresistible and The Sweetest Thing) were slightly better.
The series revolves around 3 half sisters who are coming together after their mother's death to handle the broken down inn she left them. Each finds romance in men who were born and raised in Lucky Harbor.
In this book it's baby sister Chloe and local sheriff Sawyer. Both characters are well developed and lots of fun. C More...

I've been pushing myself to read more contemporary romance, and I snagged this after seeing so many good reviews of it.

Jill Shalvis is easily my favorite recent discovery. Her Lucky Harbor series is exactly what I needed in my life right now. I will review the first two soon, but I just finished this one. Head Over Heels is the third book in Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series. We have witnessed Maddie and Tara finding their happy endings in Simply Irresistible and The Sweetest Thing – now it is time to meet Chloe. Chloe Traeger is a wild child. The youngest of Phoebe Traeger's three daughters, she's the impulsive one, the one most likely to get herself into a scrape. Particularly now that her older sisters Maggie and Tara have found love and settled down. Maybe this is why she has such an attraction to Sawyer, Lucky Habor's sheriff. He always seems to disapprove of Chloe, which makes her want to needle him more. And Sawyer is very often the one who is bailing Chloe out of whatever scrape she's gotten herse
