Fates is an exciting journey of discovery for the lead character. The story leads you through twists and unexpected turns. It is a quick read that is enjoyable and very entertaining. Characters are well thought out but not too predictable. There is plenty of room for the characters to grow in this sojourn through an interesting fantasy world. I'm looking forward to it's sequel.
