Charismatic poems, full of wit and meditation, but I felt a little unsurprised, especially around the end of the collection. I'd like to come back to this one and figure out what it is that makes the poems so immediately likeable. Also, it references both The National and Radiohead, which more books of poetry should.
Excuse me while I add "There Must Be Something Left of the Minotaur in Me" to my stockpile of favorite poems. I liked a lot of the rest of them, too.
