Mom review for 7.5 year old: Funny and good read for a 7-8 year old. Of course, the main humor is based around "the super burp" which is right in line with most 7-8 year old boy humor. My son thought it was hilarious. It did use the word "butt," which we don't allow him to say and I made sure he understood that pinching someone's rear end is never an option, but a good read for him. I'm sure he'll want to gobble up all the others!

The key component of this book is a prolonged, powerful burp. Really? Yes, elementary-aged boys love burps, but I think we need to give them a little more credit. Stick with Frindle, Henry Huggins, Harry Pottet, or How to Eat Fried Worms.

I liked this one better than the other George Brown books! It was very cute when George innocently got the best of the bully.

7.5 year old son thought this book was hilarious. What kid isn't going to think a book based around a "Super Burp" isn't funny?
