What if I had turned right instead of left?
What if I had said yes instead of no? Does my life-story have a happy ending?
Better yet, can I trust that God's not letting me go down the wrong path when all I really want to do is His Will?

This is a fantastic, rich and involving read. The author has chosen a subject here that is something we can all relate to. I love her writing style, and her dialoge is the most believable that I've read for a long time. I love the different generations of Cayla and the way she interacts with Abbie is entertaining and interesting. Truly inspiring! I highly suggest this read! "Come What May" has touched my soul.

This is a nicely written story of love and how you can fall in love many times over, because in each person you love there are different reasons for loving that particular person. If it is meant to be, it will be and we always end up where we were always supposed to be. I loved the way the story is told in a reminiscent way and the Christian references were not overdone. I enjoyed it very much.

I found Come What May unbelievably corny and sappy to the point of being nauseating. It felt like Laura A. Diaz was trying too hard to re-create a melt-your –heart love story along the lines of The Notebook.

I really enjoyed this book. However I did find the 'christianess' of the wording a little overwhelming at times. Some of the wording is a little corny and I cringed occasionally. The story was great and bible quotes at the start of each chapter were refreshing and thought provoking.

“Responding with eyes filled with introspection and a soft, slow voice, Cayla confessed, “I don’t. I don’t have all the answers. But I cling desperately to the Hand of the One who does. Because sometimes that’s just the best you can do.”"
