I love meerkats! This book is full of cute pictures and facts about meerkats. Children love reading and seeing animals, and it is important as a teacher to show that you care about what your students are interested in. This book could be use to research meerkats, as well as answer some questions about them and maybe even introduce a new animal to some kids! Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
All about the life and habits of the Meerkat in Africa. Colorful illustrations and simple narrative combine well to make this a fun book to read aloud.

Nice, easy-to-read introduction to this animal. I like the picture at the end where they're all curled up inside their burrow. So cute!
