I got this short story as a free ebook here from Smashwords, read it in one very short sitting and I loved it! Angela is stuck in a mysterious unknown situation awaiting someone or something to decide her fate. It depends who gets to her first.

I don't want to give anything away, but the buildup is beautiful, the atmospheric tense and as for the resolution... well that's my very favourite part. It gives nothing away, yet tells you everything. Love! Despite being short in length, this story feels

The writing in this short story is well done. The tension, the set-up is fantastic -- I could really feel Angela's terror and unease. Unfortunately, I was just left with too many unanswered questions for my taste. However, this would make a fabulous intro for a longer novel, and it left me very, very curious as to what Angela is in the middle of.
