Nice story. The mystery - suspense element is stronger than I might have liked. I'm so picky about Superromance (she said ironically). I don't like the ones that are too slow-paced, I don't want it too suspense-y, I want lots of angst, but not too much... Picky. But this was a good one. The heroine was left on a doorstep as an infant and is desperate to find her birth parents. The hero is a lawyer cleaning up his dad's cases after Dad's death and there's a contested will that gives the heroine h ...more

This is my second book by Linda Warren. This book kept me very interested from beginning to end. It was a page turner & enough action. The 2 books I read by Linda Warren were great. Can't wait to read her next book.

I'm not a fan of the secret baby plot. Add a heroine who behaved 16 instead of 26 and a demented bad guy and a screwed up family. Ugh!
