OMG! Wow!!! Loved it! Great suspenseful plot, strong characters, heart pounding sex scenes, and a romance that was pretty realistic! At one point, she was recovering from an emotional moment and wanted to have sex. Instead of the "please make me forget/I need to feel alive" typical line we usually get, Day impressed me by playing it so much better. Just absolutely loved it!

I took my time getting through this one because of the three different stories. I haven’t read many anthologies before and I really enjoyed the experience. I’ll keep a lookout for more.

I have to say it. I just do. That cover is Sinful. I mean that man is sexy as hell and the pink handcuffs were a nice touch. Right off the bat I knew that this book was for me.

As this was my first erotic romance, I was quite surprised at first of the detail! WOW, Steamy!! Sylvia Day's story was my ultimate favorite & then Shayla Black came up 2nd.

A nice set of novellas. Sometimes these anthology books come up a bit lacking but this was a pretty good bunch of stories.

Since I love Sylvia Day's books so much I just had to get this book and it didn't disappoint! There are 3 novella's (each take an hour or two to read). They are definitely Adult themed books! Great read for an afternoon in the sun (or by the fire!).

I love reading anthologies. I’m a big fan of finding new-to-me authors who I may have never read before, and while I’ve enjoyed stories by Black, Day and Walker before, I’m also a sucker for a hot guy with handcuffs. I always find it difficult to rate an anthology high because the stories usually fail to "wow" me. This one, I'm pleased to say, was an exception. I love all three of the authors, so I had high hopes going in.

The first story, Arresting Desire by Shayla Black - Fucking horrible. Everything about it.
The second story, On Fire by Sylvia Day - Meh. I pretty much hated the main guy, Jared. I didn't really give a fuck about the main woman, Darcy, either. The sex scenes were okay, but it was way too intense. I do kind of want to read more of the Shadow Walkers series, though.

It reminds me of why I like this author's writing so much...the stark emotion, tortured heroes and reluctant yet unstinting bravery that they display. All of these stories are in series that the authors tend to write in these anthologies. For me the strongest story of these three was from Sylvia Day. I liked how the characters in it were instantly attracted to each other, made no bones about it, and very quickly did something about. From there things evolved more into a relationship around all the hot sex there were having. I guessed the bad guy pretty early on, but it was still fun to see if I was right.

I only read On Fire by Sylvia Day and for a short story it ticked all the boxes of a lot of things I like in a HOT romantic suspense. The story kept me very interested all the way through. The chemistry between the hero and heroine was really good. There was some dirty talking between the two of them that was smoking and then the sex/love scenes were FLAMING HOT! Sylvia Day has just stepped up as the Queen of HOT scenes for me :-)

I think I've come to the realization that I'm not really a BDSM fan. It's not a lifestyle I'm interested in in the real world, nor is it one I spend much time thinking on. Each novella in this book was amazing! Shayla Black, Sylvia Day and Shiloh Walker are wonderful in there own right but together in this one book, I loved! I had not read any of Sylvia Day's SHADOW STALKERS series, so I will definately have to go back and follow up on the prior ones since the story in HOT IN HANDCUFFS is a SHADOW STALKERS.
