Werewolves, witches, romance, and suspense this book has many great things to recommend it. The Lycan Moon is a great story all the way around. I am hoping that some of the secondary characters come back in future titles of their own. It took me a few chapters to get into it because I have been reading a lot of erotica lately and this has a completely different focus. Once I got into it though I enjoyed the story a lot. It was a refreshing change of pace for me. The romance is interwoven into th ...more

Dana Pierce is an unusual young woman on a quest to find and help free a man from a terrible, inherited curse. Meticulous research has led her to the small coastal community in Oregon. Regrettably, her single-minded dedication to her mission has aroused the attention of a vicious, unbalanced killer.

His acute senses are in overload; her tantalizing scent bewitches him. Calen Meer thought his old persona was truly buried until the nosy reporter comes poking around. She arouses his lust and his ang

Reading this story made me think about all the times I have said..."oh if only we could go back to the good old days." Well the good old days in this story weren't all that good after all.

Imagine living in a time when witchcraft had the power to curse you into immortality?

Immortality really IS a long time, and in that long time you learn to accept what cannot be changed and adjust to the minor things that can.

The word '"CONTENTMENT" pops into my mind. If you are a long suffering immortal with a

“The Lycan Moon” By Sara Durham

Dana Pierce was born a witch. She is destined to use the powers that she's had since young to reverse a centuries old werewolf curse that one of her ancestors enacted on one of her ex-lovers future male children. Dana was told by her adoptive mother, Natasha, that Dana needs to research a man named Konrad Nachtman. Through Natasha's visions, Dana's adoptive Mother informs Dana that she must assist Konrad to reverse the werewolf curse that has plagued him his enti

Werewolves, shapeshifters, and witches brew uup an awesome concoction of love, mystery and survival.

It's been a killer enduring my life between reading this book. I didn't wish to put the book down until I finished every last drop of it...that good!

Vivid scenes and imagery with characters who don't leave when the story ends. Ms. Durham stragically places history in chapters of their own using explicit characters and situations as set up for present day events with Dana, Calen (love that name), a

A wonderful romance. Combining witchcraft, shifters and an immortal werewolf, along with a monstrous villian kept me flipping the pages. A few distractions with adjectives and hesitations, but that's thanks to the internal editor in me that won't shut up and the story kept me engrossed, regardless.
I appreciate a conflicted hero, and the seductive and brooding Calen didn't disappoint. I bonded with Dana, the heroine, first chapter. I'd love to read more of Aiden, a fascinating brother to Dana.

This is a strong, solid paranormal thriller with some romance elements. For me, it earned four stars because of the excellent way Durham handles and creates her setting. I know quite a bit about the area, and it was represented well and used quite well.

And even though the book overall was somewhat "standard" for the genre, with no true surprises, the main character was a good "pull through" for the book.

Enjoyable and I'll read more by Durham.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author's descriptive words and use of action verbs pulled me into the scenes and accomplished the one thing I always hope for when reading a book...to lose myself in the story. Great job.

Witch meets werewolf, werewolf loves witch, witch loves werewolf, werewolf is a moody bastard, doesn't deter witch (though feelings are hurt), and a surprise ending, maybe too surprising.

What's not to like? There was nothing spectacular with this book, but it's a good solid read in the urban paranormal genre. Big plus on bringing together two usually separate paranormals.

I thought Dana was far more likable than Calen. He keeps blowing hot and cold with her. If I were Dana, I would have told him
