This book is a helpful resource on how to use the many ODBC API calls. The writing is clear and the book is well-organised. It assumes an understanding of C but does not require previous experience with ODBC. One thing that could be better would be the examples, not just to have more examples, but slightly more complex examples that are closer to real-world scenarios.
