This book was a joy to read, mixing stories and facts about State Fairs (want to know which competitions Brigham Young won?) with bios of crocheters and award winning patterns. And of course, my favorite part was the pictures of the gorgeous afghans. It was inspiring...and I'm officially submitting an afghan to the Utah State Fair in a few weeks.
Admittedly, I picked this book up at the library strictly because of the cover and was happily aurprised at the inside contents! While some color schemes of course are different that what I would do, the patterns themselves are great!
